Can we remove Lightbringer and Sweeper Lens from Howling Abyss?

These items are completely stupid on a map like Howling Abyss. Oh, is the enemy in that bush? I sure hope not, it's the only bush in this strange, straight, and narrow path in front of me.

My real concern is it completely disables Teemo's use and effectiveness. Far be it from me to defend Teemo but he should NOT warrant a reroll because if your enemy is smart enough to pick up ridiculously cost-effective LB or SL, you completely shut down his only offensive and defensive tool.

You already have oracle's extract, why do you need these two items? They warrant their uses on Twisted Treeline because there are more ambush places that are less obvious and have no wards or trinkets. What other traps in the game are able to be destroyed because they're revealed or stealthed? Caitlyn's? Nope, have to step on it. Nidalee's? Nope. Have to step on it. I'm fine with being able to destroy Teemo's obnoxious shrooms, but there is no need to make them completely useless on Howling Abyss after level 7.

THE LEAST you could do, is remove the passive effect on them while the active is on cool down, so they have to be strategic with their use.

You're wrong about them completely negating Teemo's shrooms. I buy one of those in every game vs. Teemo (even if someone else does also), and my teammates still pop his shrooms. Vision is only effective if the holder is in range, and a lot of people are too impatient to wait for a clear. The actives are also not just for brush sweeping. If my teammates are a few steps ahead of me, the only way I can stop them from hitting shrooms before I can get in range is to fire the active in front of them.

When I'm Teemo, they're certainly annoying, but not impossible to handle. Ideally, we treat vision holders like carries as soon as they hit the front line.

Actual chat: Teemo: Ryze has vision Thresh: THE DEAD SEE NOTHING

Ryze was using his actives on the brush, so I made sure to leave one or two shrooms there to encourage him to keep doing that. In the meantime, I was scattering them all over the open space as well. If he started AAing to clear one, it gave Thresh an easy target to pull into it. As you can see, Ryze had the most deaths on his team. That wasn't an accident, and he wasn't diving. I even placed shrooms directly in minion paths because my teammates were conscientious about waveclear and minion redirection. Our opponents felt that the usual minion paths would be clear of shrooms, and I repeatedly proved them wrong.

Even with vision, Teemo can still drop mushrooms directly under people during fights. In most cases, they're unable to disable them before they activate. Negated? Not at all.

As a Teemo non-hater, I think these items are great for the Howling Abyss. I usually honor opponents who buy them.

You realize that not all team comps are going to compliment you. So getting Teemo with a team that relies on his shrooms because they cannot engage or disengage is huge disadvantage when those two items are present.

I stand by my choice and say they're not fair for Teemo. Especially since they specifically target him. I thought items weren't suppose to target specific champions.

You're using your shrooms, if you don't get to use them, then it's kind of moot. It's rare I find myself against a team that doesn't get these items and play around them. I probably had a chance to put 2 shrooms down at a time before they were destroyed. The active sight range of the items needs to be removed or go on cool down if the active is used. That's the only alternative I can say if they wouldn't get removed.

It makes the game very unsatisfying to play and I would not recommend playing him under 80% of the ARAM circumstances that arise. I don't want to have fun 20% of the time.

Teams that don't mesh is kind of the point of ARAM. Team composition shouldn't be an argument against the items.

They target him, but I disagree that they specifically target him. They're useful for Shaco and his boxes, Twitch, Akali in her shroud, Rengar, Vayne, Kha'Zix, Talon, and even Evelynn (to a lesser degree).

Even vs. a group that is highly efficient at clearing shrooms, there is counterplay potential. You don't have to leave a minefield for Teemo shrooms to work. Point blank cheapshots and AA-heavy tactics work well also. They can also be a delaying tactic if you know the enemy will meticulously sweep the lane.

I have fun every time I play Teemo, even in games where the minefield approach is unfeasible. I think you might be too emotionally invested in that tactic.

Have to agree with IceWeasel. Reduces his effectiveness, but he's not unmanageable. My personal favorite is to go heavy AS/Magic Pen and just pepper the crap out of them with poison darts.

item 3085 item 3151 item 3135 item 3115 item 3153 item 3089

This + MPen runes. My enemies get shredded. The BotRK is for the active, AS, and the lifesteal (only sustain this build provides).

47.2k damage to champions and I didn't even get to full build. Game ended in under 30 minutes. The KDA wasn't spectacular, largely because the tanks weren't really peeling for me, but the damage speaks for itself.

i find item 3187 & item 3185 incredibly useful against Akali & Twitch more then Teemo, or Shaco.

Fuck akali's "Uh Oh mashing R didn't win the match yet" smoke cloud. Pop the active when she uses her W, and GG, bitch has nothin.

The utility on bush checking can be good too. Also i'll build LB on Crit Ashe (double snitch build :P)
