Now that I've finally hit Plat
Here's my Aatrox Build Guide

You wanna know what Aatrox is really good at? What he does better than anyone else? He baits and pisses mages right the fuck off.
This is a jungle guide and
is never not a good idea but honestly it's just not acceptable to go anything but Devourer when playing Aatrox.
Why the slow instead of the red smite? Because it's all about setting up your Q bb.
Couple of other core items that are never not a good idea?

I see you, you're thinking... "Yeah, Maw is great and all but why Guinsoo?" because of the attack speed honestly, the waveclear is a nice perk but it's all about attacking as fast as possible. Why? To maximize you hps. And you really can't beat Maw, soon as you think you've got Aatrox almost dead Maw pops, gives him a bubble and adds a tremendous boost to his healing.
So what're the situational items? What do when I'm up against the pricks that are assassin mains? Truth is... you die, you die a fucking lot... but it's oh so inconvenient for them.
When up against a comp containing some Very Hard CC and some insane burst dmg, I'm talking
+
you rush this little baby
I'm telling you nothing pisses off an assassin comp more than a 17 min GA on Aatrox. Since the buff it's no longer an item you should fear rushing, because 700 HP is A LOT of hp. Also keeps you from draining your bloodwell meaning you come out of the res swinging full speed.
It's also highly effect against comps with lots of knockups on high cd like a
+
combo.
So what do you do when you're up against a heavy AD team. Say the lanes are looking like
? Rushing this secret freelo
Devourer into Thornmail creates an almost certainty that you win any 1v1 and gives the ad comp a reason to regret hitting you. Aatrox's healing when not locked down is also next to none. Meaning you can sustain longer than most champs meaning your thornmail is going to spike your dps like a motherfucker.
Ap comps though? This is where Aatrox tops the charts, forget about
. The real bane of the mage is the darkin blade. Why? Because
+
make it hard for a mage to even scratch Aatrox. Not to mention the combo creates a wave of healing that can not be stopped. This is only effective in a scenario with very high AP dmg output. Similar to
comps.
But if the team falls somewhere in the standard comp then your build is going to end up looking like this
With the variants being
Always going with the Furor enchant on your boots and
for even more healing.

Disclaimer: Do not play Aatrox into Ahri. So much regret you will feel.
