there has to be some way to loosely match the MMR since you seem to use that for everything anyway, if two teams are silver / me in provisionals, i shouldn't be with 4 silver players against plat 1 players, doesn't promote fun, isn't healthy, this game mode isn't just a joke, it's the only place we can really team up and play since clash is a failure
Flex is a seperate rank. Going to flex you confirm that you realize it is 2 different ranks. Don't expect 2 different rank modes to allign in rank. You can be very good at communication/macro team and in the same time have a disgusting micro/mechanics skill. You mostly climb as a team by coordinating your actions. So don't expect some stack of guys with high micro/mechanics (hence high soloQ rank) and 0 coordination to match against same micro/mechanics skill, but also well coordinated team. Given you climbed to the same flex rank it is fair to match you with each other, as your methods resulted in the same rank.
Flex is not competitive period.
It is impossible for an automated matchmaking system to create a balanced ladder when the players do not take the games seriously.
