Styrofoam mail

So is it just me or is thornmail not even worth building anymore in comparison to an omen, a sunfire , or even a warmongs just for hp? All any AD champ needs to completely ignore the damage reflection from thornmail is a single lifesteal item. So unless you build pure armour and 0 damage and hope the enemy team has no AP then stat wise i don't see any reason to use this item over a froze heart or a damage item. 100 armour is great but a flat 100 armour does basically nothing aginst decent armour pen/lifesteal. I'm sure someone has already posted something similar to this but hey lets all sit here and circle jerk to screw ups riot will never fix. The way it's going right now we will soon be back in the dark ages of the assassin/adc meta.

That's pretty much the case. Thornmail is a trash item right now, and so is any hope you ever had of actually fighting back against Yi, Fiora, Yasuo or <insert ADC here>. Just bend over and die because late game you can't stop them unless you literally pile an hours worth of cc onto them.

If they have An AD top laner AD jungler and a good adc its optimal. I played a game where we single handedly won because of thornmail. I was xin jungle and we had gnar top and we both built thornmail against their uber fed cait and pretty fed yi and the change was crazy. They just shit on themselves every fight and we turned it around and won

Haven't built it since the update.... not because it's not still a good item on some champs, but because the new items they came out with fit better into most builds. Very few champs actually build armor vs HP now.
