Is it okay to report someone for banning his champion?

Hey guys, I just played a game where someone banned Lee Sin intentionally. I got really mad at him to be honest because I don't own any other jungler than Lee Sin. I told him to not ban Lee before. I ended up picking Singed and farming the bot lane. Obviously my team got really mad at me then and some of them reported me. I didn't troll, I didn't feed intentionally and I didnt insult them. (I had the fewest deaths on my team and someone had more than twice as much deaths as me.) Maybe i deserve the reports because I obviously started to ruin the game for basically everyone. Still I feel like it really sucks when someone just bans your champion because they see that you are a OTP. Is it okay to report someone for doing that?

It's fine to ban someone's pick. Jerk move but nothing against the rules, nor should it be. The abuse of said rule would be worse than just having people banned from time to time.

You can't get banned for not playing the meta, just like you can't get banned for banning a champion. However I would assume Riot should at least create a preselect for players so they can't ban what they selected. Food for thought.

Banning a champion, regardless who who's hovering it, isn't a reportable offense.

Someone threatening or asking for a player to be reported, however, is a reportable offense.

i would go full troll if someone banned away my int pick intentional.

i mean, he trolled you, so just lock in Teemo summoner 11 summoner 1 and run it down mid.

Yes, Lyte tweeted before he left Riot that banning someone's pick intent or not playing your assigned role are reportable offenses.

That said, locking in singed jungle and purposely stealing farm from your bot lane is trolling and is also reportable.

You shouldn't be jungling if you only have one jungler. What if the enemy team bans Lee sin? Always have a backup champion for every role.

Get a wider champion pool if Lee is your only jungle champ.

A player can ban a champion for any reason. That isn't a punishable offense.

If they start taunting you in chat or something after, that can be a different story.

Whether what they did was wrong or not, there is no excuse for trolling.

If you really don't want to play the game, dodge and take a minor LP penalty. It's better than trolling, making 9 people hate you, and (hopefully) getting banned afterwards for your conduct.

It is a form of griefing so it is reportable. I doubt anything is done about it though. Don't listen to what the sheep on here tell you. They make their own rules everyday and piggyback off each other because they are too stupid to think for themselves. Casual sheep have been ruining online gaming for years and the devs do nothing about them because they are cash cows.

RIOT already said this is a reportable offense.

Unsportsmanlike conduct.

But what did they expect you to do? Not get mad? Not troll back? Honestly tilting your team mates is the easiest way to lose; yes, even easier than having an aatrox top

You can report them, yes. But it's better if you do two things: don't show your pick intent, and don't say "don't ban X". This provokes a lot of people for some reason.

Retaliating by taking Singed bot is also reportable. I don't understand why you wouldn't still try to jungle, even Singed can jungle...
