Why Solo Queued Team Players are Hurting in Dynamic Queue
Primary Support Players: Being a primary support player and being good at it will by far be the best way to climb in dynamic queue due to the grossly imbalanced amount of players in the role. You will get your primary role 80-90% of the time you queue for it.
Secondary Support Players: This SUCKS. Currently my situation is wanting to primarily jungle with my secondary as support. Essentially I'm forced to support in 80-90% of games which means I only get to play my best role in 10-20% of games. I'm basically forced to make support my primary role or make top/mid/adc my second best role. Having support as your second best role is going to hurt you more than anything else.
Fill Players: Everyone knows that the "fill" option is basically an abbreviated word for support. In past seasons I could adapt throughout champion select picking x lane because of y laner that i could counter with z laner. Now we are stuck into one role and even though they have 4 melee champions and I'm a good enough janna player I am now stuck picking my lane or begging the other person to switch out of their preferred role in order to play another lane.
These are the most extreme examples but there are less noticeable differences between the other roles as well. Dynamic queue will always favor certain roles and preferences and it can't be avoided under the current system.
Additional Note: Adaptability and Team comp focus is taking a huge hit. People will often join ranked queue dead set on playing 2 champions, one for each role they select. Many times they will not change their pick to synergize or to counter leading to many games with only damage carries in every role because there is no feeling of "Okay top isn't my greatest role I will pick a high utility safe pick and wait for teamfights." Everyone is overly confident in their ability to carry the entire game on their own leading to chaotic games with much less cooperation.
Unanswered Prayer: Please bring back the old queue.
