Akali
Why is Akali banned every game? I play her so i know that she's a great champion. Does she really outshine other champions that much? Can someone explain this to me? Thanks.

she's the pefect solo q champ, and complete trash in LCS.
This is due to shit yolo q communication
you can't control your teammates in this game, so when you lane against akali, 3-0 her before 10 minutes and then ping your botlane back telling them that she's level 6, they generally ignore you, then akali gets a double kill, then your botlane blames you for not calling mia even though you did... at least that's generally how the games where i face akali go, so I understand the bans even though I personally don't mind her that much
She's one of those champions that can kill an entire team with her resets. Similar to Katarina but harder to lockdown. Without good team strategy (usually lacking in solo q), she can gib your squishies quite easily and then outsustain the meatier champs. Provided she's given enough traction early, and I find the average person assumes their mid will feed over their mid playing well.
Don't worry, she won't be banned any more once the PBE changes go through.....
She's not OP, just hard to deal with in solo queue because it takes some coordination to beat her, which isn't something you'll find in lower ELO. There's a reason why she's not played in LCS often.
In solo Q she can stomp pretty hard. Mobility, pretty high damage, and good sustain. Once shes rolling its hard to stop.
