I've realized people stopped complaining about Lee Sin

Because every new champion has, like, twice the amount of stuff he has

...except for Bard

No you are wrong. See, each champion is a part of Lee Sin. Can you not see the similarities?

Kallista - Annoying Mobility Ekko- Stickiness Reksai- Blindness Bard- The ability to save/kill enemy carries with ult

And what does Lee have? All 4. And to push it even further, if you take the first two letters of each of their names, put them together, switch them around, take a few out and put a few in, what do they spell? That's right, Lee Sin.

Well in fact this isn't the reason. It's because right now there are so many more viable junglers who can compete with him, and offer diversified benefits to their team.

People stopped complaining about Lee Sin because it got boring. Now they complain about Riven instead.

BluePolarizer6/24/2015, 6:51:05 AM7 votes

The changing of Lee Sin's splash art has been a major nerf.

LaserDeathBlade6/24/2015, 8:46:23 AM6 votes

I never understood the Lee complaints

He was never good IMO. Even in his prime, all I saw were Feed-Sins. He's got unreliable engage, almost no CC, isn't tanky, and doesnt do that much dmg.

AMYS GRAVE6/24/2015, 4:02:13 PM6 votes

We still hate him, but not seeing him for a few months means we have gotten a reprieve from seeing him every game for years on end. Its not that he's weaker, its that other choices are now at least viable.

ayNigerianPrince6/24/2015, 5:15:48 AM5 votes

Of all the champs that have been coming out recently, Bard has been my favorite.

And I've played him like twice.

FalconPawwwwnch6/24/2015, 6:48:41 AM4 votes

Lee Sin is trash tier right now

DracosKasu6/24/2015, 1:51:34 PM4 votes

The main reason is mostly because tank offer much more in teamfight who actually matter more.

Lee Sin is actually still annoying BUT we dont see him in all game compare to season 3

Meep Man6/24/2015, 3:17:18 PM3 votes

I think its because the meta shifted away from him.

Divewing6/24/2015, 1:58:38 PM3 votes

Being totally honest I'm not sure if I think Lee Sin is balanced, just that the meta doesnt work for him, whether or not that should decide balance issues in any way is another question, but I cannot continue further with this cos I know I will be biased, hence why I don't complain on the boards. I'd totally like to but I know I'm being somewhat unfair. And to be frank, I can deal with his damage, I can deal with his mobility, I can deal with his cc. But what I cannot and will not ever be able to deal with is how disgustingly hard it is to punish him for a mistake, especially early, I have had too many situations where hes been caught 3v1 in our jungle and got out because we only had 1 reliable hard cc. Ima stop there before I rant but I guess the TLDR is that, for me, I'm too biased (and I know it) to genuinely complain about lee sin on boards

MrBuffington6/24/2015, 1:10:22 PM2 votes

It's just right underneath the surface. Try saying anything positive about Lee and you get flamed.

BakedLotion6/24/2015, 2:36:14 PM2 votes

I still hate him with a passion.

Earl Eulrich6/24/2015, 12:43:14 PM2 votes

yea, at this point they could hand him his AS-slow back and it wouldn´t look overloaded...

Blue Moon Wolf6/24/2015, 3:20:48 PM2 votes

don't worry, he's been replaced by riven at the moment. it's the circle of life for league:

Op champ that won't get nerfed <--------------------------------------------- I
People say something about it on the boards
I
Riot refuses to do anything meaningful to nerf champ
I
Champ gets forgotten --------------------------------------------------------------------

I call the cycle O.P.R.C.

ElJanitorFrank6/24/2015, 10:42:58 PM2 votes

Not really, though. I don't know many champions who have the same mobility as Lee Sin, let alone more. I think they have just realized that Lee Sin is more annoying than overpowered, and are now complaining about the annoyingly overpowered champions.

Gorgannan6/24/2015, 5:00:53 PM1 votes

I think the real reason is that removing the AS slow on his reactivated E not only made his ganks AND dueling power worse, but makes him take significantly more damage through his clears.

PiVoRx6/24/2015, 7:13:07 PM1 votes

Hes still broken, Riot just release champs more op than him but he is still one the list. Just cause one champion more OP than other doesent mean previous ones suddenly become balanced.

Like Ahri - LB relation, Ahri is still OP as fuck but LB is even more so nobody talks about Ahri right now.

Shrek Luigi6/24/2015, 10:03:05 PM1 votes

Bard Don't speak ill of Bard, the best support in the game

Left Hook Larry6/26/2015, 4:07:42 PM1 votes

Because Lee Sin was not broken in the first place. He was just kind of annoying to play against, but people forget that it takes skill to do consistently good with him. That's why he has like a 45% win rate currently. Most of those people who complained probably never played Lee Sin and if they did their win rate with him was terrible

ponkzy6/24/2015, 11:44:44 PM1 votes

blem is still god on lee sin, blem is love, blem is life

MandingoMeat696/24/2015, 11:52:25 PM1 votes

Gragas is the new Lee Sin in the cinderhulk meta.

-Mobility -Sustain -Good ganks -Ultimate that can be used to "insec" an enemy carry into your team, or push enemies away

YOLO420SWAGSCOPE6/25/2015, 3:17:28 AM1 votes

i dont know why people complain about lee when you have nami's laugh i meam seriously that just makes me want to chase her. into a bush with 4 of her teammates waiting to kill me

ShaftyMegee6/25/2015, 3:48:14 AM1 votes

Why must you open the flood gates OP?

Gasaa6/25/2015, 5:51:56 AM1 votes

I believe it's just the meta. I personally like to play myself some good ol' lee jungle, but this tank meta is not very friendly to him sadly. Nunu

Cupkek6/25/2015, 7:52:17 PM1 votes

Yes... Yes... Good, forget about my favorite champion... ;)

I feel that in this colloquially named "Tank Meta", Lee tends to suffer. Predominantly during the extended teamfights, where his physical damage tends to be lackluster and his options are limited.

Lee's strengths lie in his potential to become a VERY annoying and deadly force in the early and mid game, when tanks are weakest or not fully bloomed respectively. If he cannot render them obsolete in this time period, he will pay for it in the late game when tanks become scary cc machines.

I imagine, once tanks become less of a force to be reckoned with, Lee will return to popular play. He's still quite powerful, yet his utility/mobility omnipotence is somewhat abated by tanks that can't be 100-0'd in an R-Q-Q-E combo.

Ironclad Dragon6/24/2015, 6:50:21 AM1 votes

And Velkoz. Name one thing wrong with him.
