You are forgetting the 10% reduction to power chord.
I stopped buying Mobi boots on Sona a while ago, they really aren't that great on her, lucidity boots are much better.
if youre building luci boots, I question wtf youre building on sona, sone should only go mobis or mpen boots, she shouldnt need luci with 5% masteries almost any ap item, pref morellos and an ardent censor, or something like that.
If you don't get enough to to finish a full item for your CDR, Ionian's is acceptable because it's situational anyway.

lucidity boots as an early item, CDR is an important stat on supports, in a game where I'm going even I usually end up with lucidity boots, talisman, sightstone, 2 slots for wards for a large portion of the game and a mana item, tear/chalice. If I'm going for morellos I might skip them for sorc or swiftness boots, or merc treads vs other AP supports with heavy CC. If I'm snowballing I usually sell the lucidity boots and go for sorc shoes, especially if I'm going a lichbane build.
talisman
Wait, you aren't building spellthiefs on Sona? But, it's so good for early poke D:
I usually end up building
then selling it to get
for the better active, though I sometimes build it into
depending on the situation, last game I ended up selling
for
, because snowballing
Ohh, okay gotcha.
I usually don't upgrade Spellthiefs, I just wait until I have the rest of my core items, then sell spellthiefs and put an AP or defensive item in it's place.
I read a reddit post that did the math saying that upgrading spellthiefs to frostfang is a waste of gold considering the stats you get from it. I can kinda get that. You really aren't getting much for the 500 gold, I'd honestly rather get tier 2 boots first.

usually I will upgrade it if I have the gold and no other items that I need to buy at the time, since it does still give some stat boosts, even if not that efficient, if I'm going utility I sometimes don't even start with a gold item since I have the masteries and it allows me to get some good early vision down, plus some pots.
It's more of a suggestion to be honest. It's literally a 5 unit nerf to her movement to bring her down to Zyra's level BUT she's also able to spam a speed boost that always hits herself, but can be given to her team as well. 5 Units is not enough to warrant this level of worry that we're seeing on the forums because if people want movement they can adapt their items for it.
Imagine the rage if they nerfed Zed down 10 movement speed. Or nerfed is shadow 'return' range? THat is much more game breaking than a supports 5 unit nerf.

she already does have one of the lower base movement speeds, and E scales off of that base, given how squishy Sona is and how much she relies on getting in and out of range quickly while trading in lane, this is definitely a nerf you could feel while playing. Especially since E should be the last skill you level up as Sona.
Yeah just got Mobi, use E and get 3 dragons. All is the same :)
Granted I'm cardboard trash but as someone who religiously plays Sona top, mid and bot lane, while it might not seem like much of a nerf to you, early-game, in lane, positioning to poke and tag your adc with your aura is key and every little MS helps.
At most, you'll get E at level three, (when most of the lanes power spike and go and it becomes a potential engage/kill fest) or later if you chose to spend your points in poke (Q) or sustain (W). And usually by the time you get to the point where you get boots, generally most opt for Ionian's for early CDR or Sorc's for better m.pen if you find yourself snowballing ahead with enough CDR as it it.
So.. no, I might be wrong but I don't think tapping E and grabbing mobility boots mid-late game isn't really 'understanding' anything.
PS - You don't even seem to play her besides ARAMs.
Her E already gives mobi boots to her entire team with a simple button press. Wtf do Sona players want more ?
To leave her alone?
The next question is do you go
or
