balance in the gameplay and matchmaking

so there i am 1 win from being platinum 5, and ya know what happens? same damn thing as the last 18 times this week. i get 3 complete idiots on my team, they cant be more than 1mmr combined. alright a quick lookup of the enemy team while i wait.....hmm they all have 17 straight wins past 17 games...ooo..k my team a quick rundown shows they lost 12 out of 17 games.....o...k seems fair.
