riot has a report feature which has several REPORT PLAYER based on verbal/language/words.....yet they also have a mute button. hmm the main problem is mute doesnt block offensive actions, and the report player for actions selection is limited. a player goes 0-9-0 but remains quiet, you try to persuade them to play smarter and bam you get reported. riot says just mute the offending player.....but you CANT MUTE ACTIONS RITO!!!!!!!!!! now what?
You report people using the most accurate option you can. It's just like a multiple choice question where some of the answers are sort of correct, but one of them is more correct than the rest.
If you can't "persuade someone to play smarter" without being a jerk, then don't speak. It's a pretty simple concept in theory, but if you have a rude personality with little self-control, you should consider moving the chat box off the screen.
I think it's very frustrating that saying "you need to cs more" or "can you join me on this kill" is considered "complaining" or "harassing".
They do seem to have a problem with this and instead of RIOT doing much to help people get better, they seem to just want to punish people when they get frustrated.
