Would be great if some sort of "progress history" feature was created.
Just a small idea I had that would benefit LoL, hopefully I'm posting in the right place.
I realized not long ago, when people ask me when I started playing LoL, that I don't actually know exactly when I started playing League. Originally, my younger brother persuaded me into creating an account and trying a few games. At that time I wasn't really feeling it, so I dropped it. He continued to play, and I got more and more curious, up to the point where I wanted to try again, and this was when my LoL "history" began.
With this in mind, I think it would be great if Riot could implement some sort of feature that tracks my progress over the years. Especially with eSports becoming more widespread and the game becoming more serious for people that play competitively, wouldn't it be great if you were Challenger and you could look back over the years and see how you "got good" over that time?
Ideally, the feature would keep a record of when people created their accounts, when they hit Level 10, 20 and 30, and what rank you are at the end of each year. There could be a lot more, such as when your first pentakill was, your total kills and games for each year (expanding on what you get in the Profile section of the current client).
I thought it would be good, simply because old and new players get nostalgic once in a while and like to see how they've grown as a player each passing year, it would be a nice little touch for those that have spent years playing and give newer players something to aim for.
Of course I'm not sure how difficult it would be to implement it, and whether Riot would have all the data it would need to pull it off. Considering that we're getting a new client, a training mode, replays, jungle and assassin reworks and probably more that I can't recall, you can put this on the backburner Riot [slayer-jinx-wink]
