My EVENTFUL day on League and how it's a good example on League right now

I played about 7 games of LoL today. And this day is a really good example on LoL balanced the past few patches. Note: skip to bottom if you want to read what really matters.

1st game Played Aatrox on top like I start a lot of my days off with. Was vs a teamcomp full of powerful champions. Caitlyn Blitz Rumble Yasuo Rumble

Wasn't very fun, my team ff'd at 15 because it was already lost.

2nd game ADC, played MF and we lost... Was vs a Yasuo, Blitz, and Xayah, Morde, and Hecriam. Even tho we lost I still had fun talking to people in all chat (not shit talk) And we lost the game because my Udyr top fed the Morde and then started to feed the more we told him where he fucked up while fighting Morde. We lost but still had some fun in the game.

3rd game Only game I won today. Was vs a team comp full of somewhat powerful champions again but this time I won, but it wasn't a fun game.

4th game Got ADC, played Ashe because why not? enemy jg got fed along with the other ADC who got fed off of my supoprt... Not fun...

5th game Now because of the day I was having I queued up with a friend and told him "I'm going something so off meta as support" He was fine with it and he played bot where I played support Kindred... BUT AP Somehow got the highest KP and tied my ADC for most kills. Yeah no, my top laner fed a Kayn followed by Pantheon. We lost (again) but it was a fun game even tho we had a toxic top laner.

6th game Nothing crazy, played support again but with Blitz cause he was open. Got camped by a fed Yasuo and we lost.

7th game Played top, got camped early vs a Morde. There was a Garen mid and even tho he never got fed. He still did half my half as true damage... Yeah we lost, everyone one of them was somewhat fed except for the enemy Kindred.

LAST GAME Played Kindred jg, (my main) even tho the jg isn't funny to me anymore I played it anyway. My top laner lost to a Yi top, Yi got fed. All that really happened top, even after I camped him. Enemy bot lane was 2 supports. Somehow my bot didn't auto win till I went down there. Enemy jg who was playing Evelynn was pretty toxic towards me. Saying I don't have a life and shouldn't have one to begin with, didn't really care. But where this game went wrong was Yi. And my is Yi so unfair. Q cd too low, W heals so much late game, and more true damage. Lost again because of my top...

Now you may want to know why I talked about all of the games I played and why they are good. In all of these games there was a powerful champion, a teammate who fed, and bad matchmaking. Matchmaking this season just feels so bad, on top of Riot's bad balancing the past SEVERAL patches just makes for such a bad state of the game. I don't have as much fun playing ANY role anymore because someone will always take your whole team down with you because powerful champions auto win so much that unless you're playing a counter pick or just WAY better then you'll lose. This shouldn't be the case, I play so well but it doesn't matter because Garen does half my HP with true damage, Hec Es into lane and blue smite and ults you and you can't get out. If Riot doesn't fix these balances issues this preseason or next season I could see it hurting the game.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, I'm going to go play TFT on PBE because at least with that someone can't drag me down with them.

In the last 2 months I played non-stop Rammus and climbed from 0 ranked games played this season to Platinum in both Solo Queue and Flex. How "powerful" champions are don't really matter in Silver, or even Gold. Heck, probably not even in Platinum. It's all about how good you are with the champion you're playing and how well you understand objectives. If you look look for external reasons for why you aren't doing as well as you think you should be, you're always going to find them.

My last six (all losses, I'm adc in all six) Game 1: Their jungle hard camps bot with occasional bonus roam from mid, Our jungle camps mid. Net result, their team gets 7 dragons to our 0 and they have big advantage in the bot duo by midgame and the midlaners (and jungle, I guess) are "even". We have no tanks and jungle Ekko and mid Lux spend the remainder of the game trying to hit skill shots on their comp full of dive champs. LOSS Game 2: This was actually a decent game, but again we have no tanks and they have a Nautilus and a Malphite. Malph spends all late game looking to kamikaze me, and each time after that happens (with no real effort made to stop him) the rest of the team gets wiped. Final death was totally my own fault tho, for getting to close when I actually saw him near baron. LOSS Game 3: Here we go, now we're TALKING. Support is decent (but can't clear blue trinket wards despite walking right over them to save his life), but mid Heimer does nothing productive (ends: 1/6/9) and top laner (Renekton) is pretty much hard int'ing (diving solo, often with no teammates on the same screen, into 1v5s). LOSS Game 4: Amumu support (who can't use relic shield unless I entirely stop cs'ing) and int'ing jg. Mid is only useful member of team (Top ends 0/6). LOSS Game 5: Top is Fiora against Draven, at spawn says "I'm screwed, losing matchup". Jungle dc's multiple times for pretty much the entirety of lane phase. LOSS Game 6: Final game last night. Oddly, this one was actually ... fun(?) at least seemed "fair". I end with 85% KP. Early game ends with Me & Thresh fed, vs. uber fed jungle Jax. During midgame transition enemy team gets a lead while I figure out the base equation: If I kill Jax, our team wins fights, If Jax kills me, we get wiped. Jungle Yi running around completely randomly, sometimes int'ing, completely unpredictable to anyone including our team. Tries to clean up kills after team fights, still ends game with only 3 kills and 34% KP. After one major teamfight Nasus proclaims "protect ADC and we win" and then proceeds to run off and split push solo for the rest of the game. We're fighting the final 10 minutes with absolutely no base at all, and after teamfight wins we can't push because no one else can protect the base (on one of our best teamfight wins I have to recall to prevent a MINION backdoor). Lategame is largely just a duel between me (Tristana) and enemy Jax with 8 other champs adding noise. Final fight ends with me dying to Jax in a 1v1 when he tries to take our inhib, I get him down to about 100-200 HP, teammate immediately arrives (at FULL health) after my death and dies to Jax. Enemy team kills Nexus. LOSS

As I said, all things considered that last game was probably most "fair", it just feels bad when you're losing a 5v5 and it feels like you can hang with the enemy's Number 1, but your 2-5 is worse than their 2-5.
