Poll: Is riven broken?

Her blade is.

The Riven circlejerk is too much for me. When people complain that Riot "doesn't listen to the community", I'm almost kind of glad.

Mana-less - check Mobility - check High damage - check Shield that scales from AD - check Stun - check High damage ranged ult - check Good base stats and scaling - check Snow balls massively - check

What am I missing? Oh yea.... She's hard to play? Lol get real. I abuse her daily and I barely know wtf I'm doing with her and take lane.

well there are more bronze-silver players that dont know how to play than high elo players so yeah of course they will agree. Its like the old days some guy in the south would say we should have slaves dont you agree! and of course they all would say yes they think the same but when you go to the north where the smart people are they dont agree and win the war.

Riven herself isn't broken it mainly stems in my opinion from alot of people that face a person who is extremely skilled with riven and have no clue ho to counter her and instantly rush to the boards, now that i have been playing as long as i have i find the standard riven to not be to bad.

Broken? Yes. Her kit takes far too much advantage of animation canceling. This is overall my only real problem with her kit.

Overpowered? No. She usually has to get ahead early on to have enough AD for her shield to save her from getting blown up in teamfights. I wouldn't say she's too bad because she can be shut down. But being able to build both offense and defense while building only offense does make it easy for her stay ahead.

The only thing broken about her, is her blade. She is completely balanced. If you snare/cc her, she can't Q or E. Pretty easy to counter/predict.

There r Riven fanatics here. You can't beat extremists.

Broken, no. Toxic, yes.

Broken no... strong yes... she could use some tuning nerfs but she isnt broken

@OP. People think Riven is ok because she's good at exploiting people who suck at this game and coincidentally a lot of Bronze and Silver players suck at this game meaning they are really easy to abuse. She's really strong and hard to deal with when she gets ahead but only if she gets ahead. But when does she get ahead you ask? When she is played in low elo where people constantly feed her. Instead of figuring out how to beat her they come to the forums and QQ because they suck at this game.

Same can be said for Yasuo. There are just more bad people than good people in this game.

Is she OP? Absolutely not. Is she poorly designed? That can be debated. I lean more towards yes, but I'll be honest, I'm not 100% sold on that.

What I don't understand is why low elo people would complain about Riven. She's a pretty bad champion when you have no mechanics, like.. really bad. Riven only gets scary when she knows her weaknesses, the trades she can go for and abuses the power of her small unwinnable trades, cause shield, cause stun. Or is it they faced smurfs/boosters playing Riven and got destroyed?

Her wings are. Also her sword. But she, as a person, is not broken. I believe her body is functioning just fine.

If you make one mistake against a Riven, she wins lane. You have to be high as hell to think that she isn't OP and broken.
