Way to drop MMR without throwing?

I'm fairly new to the game and I've already noticed that I am far too bad for my MMR. Every player I go up against and with is on a way higher skill level than me. The only games I can win are ones when I am carried. This annoys me because I feel like I am constantly losing games for other people when I try my hardest to win them, and I don't want to ruin other people'e experience by being a terrible player who is somehow being matched with them.

Just keep playing and you'll drop eventually.

You haven't really started ranked yet, so I wouldn't really worry about MMR since they are just bot and normals games. It may not be your MMR that is the reason it seems like you are playing against much better players, often time the "new account" MMR is riddled with people who are smurfing on a secondary account. This isn't necessarily bad, but it is sure frustrating because it feels like you aren't being a meaningful addition. What I suggest is trying to identify who is a good player in a game and then seeing what they do, or even asking why they do a certain thing, then learn from them. That way, instead of dropping MMR and playing with worse players to have an even playing field, you can get better and do well in the games you are currently in to have an even playing field.

I try playing normal matches and testing out new champs when my MMR is to high for my teammates. Not sure if it works, good placebo effect though. :D

Normal MMR won't drop ranked MMR though.

Nope, doesn't work. No matter how much I go 0/60 playing roles I hate the game still thinks I should be up against people who can dodge every skillshot thrown while also being perfectly accurate with their own. I'm tempted to quit because it is just infuriating.

You would have to continue playing Ranked until matchmaking puts you at a place where you actually belong. (Win rate consistently stays around 50%) This is how the system works at the current state.

I recommend practicing on Normal games and focus on a few champions so that when you decide to play ranked, you'll be ready. (I prefer one trick pony: Pick one champion and stick with it.)

The game is all about grinding and gaining experience each and every game. Learn from your mistakes. Remember, League of Legends is a team based game and you play a huge factor in how a team wins or loses. So, don't worry too much about who carries and who doesn't because at the end of the day, you contributed to the win. All I can say is, play your best no matter what and you'll see yourself improving and gaining elo!

I'm impressed that you're willing to accept the fact that your skill level isn't at a satisfactory level. I have no doubt that you'll improve and climb the ranked ladder.

No matter how many games I play I stay at the same level. I'm never going to climb against Vayne's who get double kills every two seconds and dodge every skillshot without effort. I'm sick of it, it's like they haven't even coded in an MMR system and just put the better players against shit like me so they can feel better.
