I have been thinking about getting Zed. At first I really wanted him, because of his awesome skins and his high burst and deuling potential, but I have been doing some research. There seem to be a lot of cons to him: -Bad late game -Shut down with a Zhonya's or QSS -Can't teamfight etc. So... Is it worth it to get Zed? He seems really good and cool, but I'm not sure if the bad outweighs the good or vice versa. If you play Zed, your insight would be amazing. (Or if you don't, but just have an opinion.)

His late is pretty insane due to his ult scaling and Lethality scaling. Your ult will be doing over 1k damage alone to those with just a Tabi, even more to those without.

Teamfighting isn't terrible either, you can just pretend to be artillery and spam W+Q until after they blow their CC and your team engages, then ult the carry. Or ult earlier, but then someone will probably save their CC for you. Try to make your ult as unnoticed as possible, like in the middle of the fight.

-QSS doesnt do anything to zed

-Zed can teamfight...once you learn him, Ult their adc, throw a shadow to the opposite side of the teamfight (next to your allies), do your combo, ignite, jump back to your teams side.

If done right, Ult will proc killing the carry, and in the process you actually did AOE dmg qith your Q/E Combos to the enemy team..From there you re-evaluate whats happening and jump back in when you have enough energy.

-Zeds late game is somewhat dependant on your teammates..If they got trashed, then the chances of you being able to carry them late game are slim unless the enemy are beyond trash. For the most part if you fall off late game you have to sit back and look for picks on the enemy ADC or whoever is squishy and trying to solo farm.

Zed has a GOOD late game my friend...

(Unless they have item 3157 )
