What's a good strong mid champ to main that isn't too mechanical?

Hi!

I recently bought Zed because I liked his playstyle even though it was mechanical, but he's tough to master for me and I don't have much time to practice with working fulltime and school after.

So I thought I'd ask you guys what is a Strong mid champion in 5.4 that's not too mechanical and could be fairly easy to master?

Thanks for any replies :]

Katarina

She's hilariously easy to play. Instant damage too stronk.

Malzahar Malzahar.

Malzahar is extremely strong throughout the game with hard cc (2.5+ sec AOE silence and one of the last remaining suppresses), he's fairly easy to use with only one skillshot being Q. He also shuts down assassins really hard with his ult and can basically delete anyone unless they're sporting a lot of MR. Only thing to worry about is getting ganked, Mal has no mobility or real escape so you have to play safer or have vision setup 24/7 especially with the current meta junglers.

Thanks for the replies so far :] They all sound great! Is Ziggs still any good? He makes me laugh.

I'm afraid to name any champions because Riot would then nerf the hell out of them for not being enough skill requiring.

Velkoz his damage is ridiculous. And he isn't to complicated, just need to be good with skill shots. And as a bonus, getting him will net you a power house support. (Supports not his main role, but he can be).

Talon

If you know when you have windows of opportunities, Talon is very rewarding for how much effort you put into playing him.
