Matchmaking adjustments in team builder ruins games

Every time I have ever played team builder with the matchmaking adjustment on I have lost. My opponent is far better than me, my teammates usually lose their lanes and everything goes to hell in a handbag. The adjustment is a broken feature that makes any attempts at trying anything new a nightmare for me. This IS consistent, and I can't get away from it even when I play my usual jungle main that is matchmaker adjusted since I never use it on TB. I'm not even playing champs that would hurt a team or be a troll pick.

Just what on earth causes Team builder to be so disgustingly oppressive. I just tried a shyvana top lane smite and tp like on front page and get a lulu that crushes me , a maokai that carries the game with a plat nidalee jungle on my team. And no better luck next time, because ALL MY GAMES IN TEAM BUILDER with that dam adjustment are hell.
