Animation cancelling is a broken mechanic and im confused as to why riot is okay with it.

Riven is broken in my opinion not because of her damage but simply because animation cancelling is a thing, i dont understand how it isnt considered a bug on her but it was in previous on zed (the e w thing) . This is kinda turning into a rant about riven but in my opinion it shouldnt be in the game at all. Not only this but riot has shared videos of pros teaching this mechanic that seems absolutely game breaking to me.

Animation canceling is a very skill based tactic that takes practice and is not the same on every champ. Each Champ has different animation timings on attacks and getting it to cancel at the right time takes skill. Meaning it adds a level of skill to the game that helps separate great from good players.

Also trying to eliminate animation cancelling would require an INSANE amount of code and rewriting that would cost Riot a small fortune.

i think that animations are animations and there are a lot of other fair things that separate good players from great.
