/REMAKE (FIX IT) already?

I love the idea behind /remake, it's a nice touch to the game and brings a lot of happiness to a lot of players knowing that they haven't lost anything.

However, people on the other end, are salty and upset about it. Not because they think they're going to win the game, BUT because it was just a waste of time.

I play League of legends whenever I personally have free-time. As a college student, working full-time that's about 60-70+ hours of work I personally have to do in order to be accomplished. In between I love to play league, with this being said I had 2 hours of free time to play, and they all ended up being /Remake, ALL on the opposing team.

I would love to make it to a much higher elo than I am currently at, however with this new remake que and my current life schedule it just seems that much harder that i just blew 40 minutes of my valuable time earning nothing and going nowhere. So what I am saying is even though /Remake is already a good idea, why is a waste of time a good idea?

Personal solution: I think that the team without the remake should be rewarded just for being present themselves, i'm not talking a full games worth. But somewhere near 1-3 LP would be such a gainer and it would make me feel better about the time I wasted 40minutes doing absolutely nothing with my life.(6 minute Que time, 5 minute pick/Ban, 3 minutes for the enemies to surrender, then getting back into another game after the /remake). Maybe instead of the LP make it so the team without the AFK gains IP? maybe 5 RP? I don't know, these are just ideas, and they would obviously only be given to players playing ranked.

Don't be mad: I don't think that the players with the AFK should be punished or anything by all means, they have 0 control over it. But, in order to give some kind of reward for your time, it has to be this way.

Summary: All in all, i'm a busy guy, and I love gaming just as much as the next person. Because of life events and things I need to do personally I can't stress enough wasting 40 minutes on a /remake game. My team, ready to play with no AFK etc, deserves better than the person who had the afk. There should be a small reward(even if it's EXTREMELY small) to make it at least bare-able, knowing that I didn't get absolutely nothing for my valuable time that I chose to play League with. I love the game, big fan, but please, NOT like THIS.
