She's a pretty neat champ!

I only wonder, with all her positives, why doesn't she get a resource? Honestly, just giving Riven mana will help out a lot and force her to pick her opportunities in the early game wisely, as if she uses her full rotation too much, she won't be able to defend from a gank. It will add feasible counterplay to help stop those 5 minute 6/0/0 Rivens from destroying everything on the map (but they'll still exist if the Riven plays right!)

Now, I'm not saying why don't we give her 200 starting mana and all her abilities start at 80, I was thinking more Vel'koz level mana. Just something so that she can't stay in lane forever and be totally safe, but she is still free to use her rotation more thank 2-3 times before running out of mana (which is a lot early game!).

Just spit-balling here, kinda tired of seeing these Riven QQ threads and comments. What do y'all think?

+1 for an energy system, or if we get mana than some compensation somewhere would be nice. Diamond 5 riven perspective

Giving her mana or energy bar means she needs a complete overhaul in her kit. Don't ask why. It's just true. Same goes for Vlad or Renekton.

Resourceless champs were designed to have no resource. It's like putting diesel into your truck which uses petrol instead.

Wow, this is the first mature Riven thread I've seen in a long time, thumbs up man. It might be a good idea but I still disagree tho, she has such weak lane sustain and her abilities may be strong because of her lack of mana, but shes also very squishy so she needs the mobility to survive. She Is strong against a lot of champions but she is also pretty easily countered by a lot of champions like Renekton or anyone who can absorb her dmg, out trade, or cc her combo. I'm not saying she cant be op but c'mon her Qs do 30 dmg at lvl1 xD its her passive that's giving her dmg early, but her combo that kills mid game. I should probably mention, Riot intentionally made her an early game bully, I'm thinking to make up for her lack of teamfight influence, or late game presence. She tends to loose snowball strength once the enemy team hits 6 items.
