So Azir's kit was overloaded so Riot hard to gut it.

Had*, sorry for typo, I can't correct it.

But Yasuo can have a shield, double crit chance, knock-up, no cooldown dash, a tool that blocks every projectile in the game and an ult that CCs you, does a ton of damage and ignores 50% of your bonus armor for 15 seconds.

Okay, I guess Azir was just too overloaded man.

Eh, as much as I dislike Yasuo... Azir did too many things too well. The Shurima Shuffle was not intended, but Riot supported it because of how damn awesome it was. But it caused Azir to be way too well rounded as a champion.

Yasuo is a dumb champion, but comparing him to Azir is... not a good comparison

azir won all his lane matchup

yasuo doesn't

sure, Yasuo has a lot of things in his kit but

-does Yasuo posses hard engage as azir (shurima shuffle)? -does Yasuo posses early lane bully levels of poke and hyperscale? -does Yasuo manage to be a battle, burst, control, poke mage all at the same time? -did Yasuo win every single lane matchup he had?

And then again, you've listed all of Yasuo's strengths without mentioning his flaws.

Yasuo wasn't the top midlaner in the game for near 2 seasons straight. They really aren't comparable.

Yasuo loses to the majority of bruisers at almost every stage of the game

Azir lost to nobody and had burst-poke on a negligible cooldown followed up with absurd DPS and a 5 second wall that on top of being some of the best disengage on its own and preventing mobility past it, basically invalidated any melee for entire teamfights because they couldn't get around it, in addition to the fact he can WQE right behind you and ult you into his own team with no counterplay possible on your part. Let's not forget he also got attack speed for building CDR so he had even more gold efficiency than Yasuo with just a Nashor's tooth, on top of his free turret passive, on top of him having a knockup on his E that also gave him a shield, and the fact that he was more mobile than Yasuo because he didn't need minion waves. Oh, and his W does extra bonus damage to turrets; because him being a teamfight god wasn't good enough, he needed to have an extra nuke to towers. He's a lane bully vs almost everyone who also had one of the most powerful late games in existence.

but yeah let's cry about Yasuo because you're getting outplayed

He did get gutted, young one. There was a time when he was actually played in the competitive scene instead of being a low elo pubstomper.
