Conqueror on Kayle/Jayce?

So with the new Precision Rune that refreshes automatically when auto-attacking with melee champions, has anyone tested if the buff refreshes with Kayle still even when using Righteous Fury? I know in the past Riot has counted Kayle as melee for certain aspects of the game, but I figure with this rune dishing out true dmg, they might not want to let a sometimes-ranged-sometimes-not champion take advantage of the buff refresh that normal melees get. Similar question regarding Jayce, what with his transformation.

Kayle with e active is ranged, otherwise runaans wouldnt work.

I just tested them in practice tool. You cannot refresh the buff while Righteous Glory (Kayle E) is active. You can charge it up like normal (you can be in combat with minions even). And with the form swappers, you must be in melee form. It's just as the patch notes say, Melee only.

Kayla is a no go and jayce looks for poke and burst not extended fight

shouldn't work on kayle, she actually becomes ranged during e.

When i played kayle her E was refershing it for me but my issue with it is that her dmg is low early and with her passive i just feels lacking to me
