Matchmaking in ranked

My current ranking is gold 1, when i que'd up for a ranked game to get the competitive experience i came across a problem.

The matchmaking had put some interesting players together. Our team had 2 gold 5's, one gold 4, one gold 2 and me the gold 1 player. This is fine by me, however what wasn't okay is that the enemy team had 3 plat 5's, one gold 5 and one gold 1 on their team. As you can probably tell these teams do not look balanced at all.

Overall this wasn't a fun game for me. The enemy team won and it felt like there was nothing I could have done about it. The early game went relatively even. Besides from a few mistakes (the jinx and gragas on my team both having deathfire touch). However late game we got out rotated super hard and we kept getting picked off or just outplayed in team fights. I do personally think that this had something to do with them having better players on the team.

You might say that this just was one game. But this has happened more since the vacation has ended. For me personally it ruins the ranked experience if you know your are outclassed by the enemy team from minute 0. So I hope that riot can fix this for the next season.
