I honestly think that this crate system should be put off. So should the new draft pick. We need to focus on what's done-zo already.

The matchmaking.

Several games a day, I'm stuck against platinum or diamond players. As a silver 4, this doesn't normally bode well. Often, inexperienced players are put with high elo players. In a thread just a couple of days ago, I saw a thread about somebody's brother being level six against gold players.

Can Riot just limit matchmaking for a person limited to the division or the ones directly above/below them?

I know a lot of people complain about matchmaking. I just don't think we should implement new features into the game when there are constantly new features being added in.

You have an excellent point. I was matched vs plat and diamond players two years ago and I know how it feels! In a normal the other week I was matched against a platinum IV top laner who absolutely destroyed me, and given the difference in ELO was over one full tier, it never should have happened. I've also noticed 2 or 3 people sometimes in a game who are part of a team (same usernames/icons/etc) and are put with randoms who queued into team builder which creates a massively unfair advantage in a regular game since those people work together daily.

In this particular case, winning a lot at low level (because you don't have many games to determine your MMR) can cause you to play against people who are far above your skill level. This particularly is to deal with smurfs, who quickly end up against other smurfs.

So am I, but you don't hear me complaining. I'm convinced that gold > plat now. Oftentimes they'll feed too.

What happens if a Diamond league player queues with his Bronze friend? Who do they get matched up with? Silvers, or Plats?
