I know everyone that read the title was thinking how to lane vs gnar as illaoi but no how do i lane as gnar vs illaoi i tried i tried to kite but i have 425 auto range and her w is like 375 and i have slow ass as so if i ever auto she w's then she just uses e and does half my hp its crazy really like i hear i counter her but i couldnt do jack shit also can i ult her while shes ulting like when she jumps in air cause i was gonna 2v1 her with zac and ulted her ult but it didnt work didnt even push her

Your objective as gnar is to poke and engage. If you cant do one of those two you shouldnt go into denial and die trying to poke. Just play safe. Also consider specific itemizations that could counter illaoi, such as health and movement speed.

Dont call ganks if ur low elo... please. in bronze/silver i would literally say plz dont gank at the beginning of each game. Illaois a trap if ive ever seen one.

You need to realize you dont need to win lane to be a winning force to end the game. Your kit is insane in teamfights, so if you are maining gnar focus on building skills in engaging not solo killing illaois.

I play a lot of gnar, I find that if you truly want to play gnar into any match-up, you have to sometimes come to accept that you may not win this lane and shouldn't even try to do that. Simply get as many minions as possible, pay attention to fend off invades, and hold lane. Gnar's range is too short, and you are too squishy, she will punish you as mini. As mega, she is a better champion over all and you would not win, aside from a good ult onto your tower. Just don't try to win, pray your support and jg can cc him hard enough and live for big plays in teamfights with that ult w
