Please do something about ARAM.

Riot I don't know what to do anymore. I've been playing league for quite a while now, its a fun game and I still enjoy it, I've become pretty much just an ARAM/vs AI player due to the toxicity of the other game modes, which is fine as it turns out I like ARAM better anyway. But...

I've unlocked some 40 champions so far and sadly I've begun to regret this due to the way ARAM works. With no way to remove champions from my ARAM pool short of removing them from my account entirely by the woefully inadequate refund policy of only getting 3 refunds, any champion I find myself tempted to unlock is just a reminder of a possible mistake I might have to live with for the rest of my accounts lifetime.

There is a good number of champions I would like to get rid of, because they either suck in ARAM or because I just plain suck with those champions. It also does not help that the weekly rotation of free champions is a terrible way to get to try out champions, it can take far too long to finally get to try a champion you actually wanted to play, and even when they do finally arrive you still can't really test them in ARAM due to the randomness. But even if I could get rid of some champions from my account then I would never be able to occasionally play them in a bot game for their personality and charm.

I'm currently sitting on 28000 IP that I can't spent, but not for lack of choices, it's just that they all suck. I don't know what champions will turn out to be mistakes that I'll regret for as long as I'll be playing league. I also don't know what will be happening with the rune system in the future, plus those things are just too damn expensive to experiment with anyway.

The only "viable" solution I have right now is to start a second account and leave my first account as a bed for experimentation, which pretty much wastes my time as I'll have to acquire everything twice, once to see if it works and a second time on a second account for "real-zies". Which is just a horrible way to go about things, this ought not be the best way to play your game but it looks as if this is my only option and even this option sucks.

There really needs to be a way for me to limit the pool of champions I get to play as. That way I can keep the champions I like but am shit with for bot games and don't have to fear unlocking a mistake. Why not allow me to set up my own champion pool from which a champion is randomly chosen? Just set a minimum number of champions that have to be in that pool to keep it fair and random. Essentially this can already be done by simply starting a new account, which is just a horrible way to go about it, you can do better Riot. Especially with the new (and headache inducing) client coming up.

And another thing. Your shop is pretty horrible for someone who only plays ARAM. I basically have only 1 option available and that is to throw away money on a per-game basis to unlock a random skin I might not even like and with no option to get stuff that's not always there. This is just sad. Or the other option, do you really expect me to pay for a normal skin without the ability to try it out first just so I maybe get to play it once every 48 games or so when the champion randomly shows up finally? There has to be a better way Riot, you have to have more options, and not temporary shitty ones that waste my money. Can't you make a special pack that unlocks all skins permanently but only for ARAM? At a reasonable price? Or a permanent version of the 1 time ARAM random, so you get a random skin every game for just yourself just for that game, but a random skin selected from all possible skins, not just from the ones that are usually there. That way I wouldn't be throwing money away every game and I'd get to see skins I normally wouldn't.

Why not allow me to set up my own champion pool from which a champion is randomly chosen? Just set a minimum number of champions that have to be in that pool to keep it fair and random.

Because that'd a) drastically cut down on the competitive-side of ARAM, and b) make ARAM feel massively more stagnant.

ARAM tests players' ability to adapt to unexpected team comps. Limiting the possible champion pool would limit the possible team comps and thus limit the opportunity to demonstrate skill.

Furthermore, ARAM's longevity and replayability is based around a variety of champions randomly being picked. ARAM-optimized accounts are already a plague on that system; letting everyone limit their champ pool would make things that much worse. It's not like Riot devotes any enough resources to balance ARAM so that the "strong picks" are rotated every once in a while. You'd just end up seeing the same champs, game after game, month after month.

You can also achieve the same thing by giving us the option to remove champions from the available pool of champions. So instead of making a selection of champions we want to randomly play with we could instead have a limited number of slots for champions we don't want to play as.

I don't really care how you do it, just find a way to let us get rid of some champions in ARAM, the shitty reroll system sucks.
