So doing a small amount of research, i've found that dragons damage was changed from physical damage to magic damage so champs like Pantheon can't solo dragon lvl 2 anymore. So my question is, how does my Morgana black shield not absorb the magic damage that dragon does now? I'm honestly confused, can someone explain this?
TehNACHO3 votesIt's not magic damage, it's spell damage.
Auto Attack/Spell Damage and Physical/Magic Damage are not the same thing.
You can have auto attack based spells do magic damage 
and you can have regular spells do physical damage 
Kitten of Evil1 votesThat makes more sense, and the wiki confirms this. A Sivir or a Noc can spell shield it. So could Morg, I guess, but as it's physical damage, the Morg's spell shield does nothing.
