As a level 30, I love being matched up with level 10's
It's a good experience for them and me. <3

Faced a level 15 fiora as ryze. Poor guy got raped
I played yesterday with a few friends, we're all unranked and really not the best anyway (a couple of them aren't even lvl 30 yet). In every single game we were matched up against a bunch of Gold ranked players. Sure was fun to get stomped over and over again. Matchmaking sure is great.
One of my other <30 accounts enjoys it too, because it at least feels remotely fair. Sometimes.
Smurfs aside, I legit do think complete (apparently) mismatches can be a good learning experience, as getting your ass handed to you by someone way better than you is a great eye opener to all the mistakes you had no idea you were making. It won't necessarily help you fix them, but at least you can be aware of them.
Let me be very clear, getting matched with level 7's and 8's is a gigantic waste of time for both them and me. It's a shitty game 99% of the time and almost always ends in a 20.
I enjoy norms and hate ranked. I'm not afraid of ranked, but having to win 2 games to advance because of one afk 4v5 games is even more shitty than level 8's feeding on a Riven top that they don't understand.
Either Riot needs to make a sandbox so that people can learn the game or stop with their awful norms matchmaking. It's a miserable experience and I guarantee that once I see who I'm playing with, I'll make it a miserable experience for them too.
Winning is fun and being put at a severe disadvantage isn't a positive experience for me or the new player.
