Match making

Instead of matching bases on a persons total lose/win ratio it should be based on a persons last 25 games so the info used for matching games is more updated.

It's not really based on win/loss ratio. The matchmaking gives you a score known as MMR (Match Making Rating) that increases/decreases as you win/lose respectively. I think it's pretty accurate right now.

Kinda tough to say that when you have no idea how it works.

In season 2 you could see your ranked MMR and it was just a number that increases/decreases as you win/lose and you would be matched with people who have a similar number. Behind the scenes it still works that way, Riot simply hided it with the current league system.

ok if its based on MMR i wish they would show us what are MMR is in the summoner profile window so we can see why we are givin 1 sided matchs that we lose 8 times in a row, as well as showing us what our team mates MMR is in the champion select window, League always calls it having a bad match and i get their are millions of match's being matched up so winning and losing cant always be on a good ratio cause their are teams that are just going to lose and those who are going to win i get that but i feel things should be matched more evenly out of those millions of available match ups, and so far it feels readily done and not efficiently done, so what im saying is that if the MMR is fixed around the amount of games you have played and is around the win/lose ratio that if the system goes with making the MMR off the last 25 games you played then the MMR can be more up to date then just looking at someone that has played 1000+ games and won 643 and lost 589 and pairs you with people that have played 500+ games and has the same lost/win ratio, it should be based on a simpler means so the system can better pair up the teams of people that are constantly losing match's get shifted to the other team of people that actually have skill and not on the beginner team of people that need to be carried

The way the current system works now, the more games you play, the more accurate your ranking is. If you limit the amount of data the system can look at, you will get some very squewed results.

The MMR system is based off of the Elo system. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system
