Fiora's new W should scale AD instead of AP

I, personally, am excited to try out Fiora's new kit. However, I do have one contention with it: why do you still have her W (Riposte) scaling with AP? With an ability that lasts only .75 seconds, necessitating precise timing and skill in order to properly utilize it, a large reward should follow successfully pulling it off - that reward being a powerful counterattack, an integral part of any swordplay.

The first counter argument to this would be that the reward is "all damage for .75 seconds is nullified and the target is slowed or stunned, depending on if hard CC was blocked." However, other characters such as Riven (who shall be further used as the primary example, in addition to Jax) have a comparatively easy to land skill such as her W, scaling with 100% of her AD despite it being a blast of Ki - something much more suitable to scaling with AP, as it is a quasi-mystical force, rather than Fiora's parrying and counter striking with a PHYSICAL sword. And it stuns Riven's enemy for .75 seconds, effectively doing the same thing. Not to mention the shield Riven gets that, once again, scales with 100% of her AD, despite it being far more suitable to scale with AP than a counter attack with a physical sword.

To use a character that also has a counter strike, we look at what many tend to list as one of the old Fiora's primary counters, Jax. Jax has a long lasting counter attack, blocking all basic attacks against him for a full two seconds - and after, strikes back with damage potentially reaching an even higher base damage than Fiora's (Jax's base and scaling damage increasing based on how much incoming damage was blocked), and scaling with 100% of his AD, in addition to stunning the enemy for 1 second (Fiora's will slow or, if hard CC is used against her, stun for 1.5 seconds). Granted, it does not also block AP and CC as Fiora's does, leaving it's potentially higher base damage as only fitting.

The second argument I can foresee coming is the relatively high base damage on Fiora's W. However, the 100% scaling on the previously mentioned technique of Riven immediately puts the damage of her comparatively simple to land (and instantaneous) skill at an effectively equal or even greater "base" damage, even if Riven had no items. And, again, though it has a small hit box, it has a much greater ease of use than Fiora's.

I am NOT saying Fiora's W should be a skill that scales 100% with AD. However, I am saying that the AP scaling on what should absolutely be, in my opinion, an AD scaling skill needs to be changed to AD before Fiora's update launches.

Because the rest of her AD is shifted throught-out in the kit.

And by the looks of it, she doesn't need any more damage.

The point of AP scaling is so things like item 3078 or item 3025 aren't necessarily wasted stats.

I tried her with AI just now. Was maining Fiora before

I still don't get it how her new W works. Apparently you are supposed to cast it towards disrection where you expect the dmg from. But the casting time and duration and the way its telegraphed makes it only viable agains projectiles like morgana's rooting. Blocking Ryze will be quite hard. And then what if you are attacked by several champs? its sets of on some puny aa and then you get cc-ed anyway. I think what ppl will do is just use it as a simple cc to chase and kill because it is her only ranged skill and cc. This is just to hard to land properly and CD is very high.

Anyhow I like her speed. This is so playable.

PS: This splashart and her new walk is a joke. I still can't believe Riot would release something that is less sexy that it was before rework.
