Help! How would you play as Ahri versus a Yasuo?

I know Yasuo is supposed to counter Ahri. But how would you beat that match-up? I know the aa to disable Yas's passive for a while until it charges back up but i have mana issues until i get a lost chapter. Yas's windwall virtually blocks all of Ahri's abilities and with him being able to get a Maw makes it an even more difficult match-up.

wait until Yasuo uses his windwall and tornado and punish him

that's all I can say :/

Wait until he dashes toward you to charm, and if he wind walls with a hard engage, ult through or around his wind wall before casting charm or your q. Try to taunt his wind wall out with q pokes when you have mana, and once it is on cooldown, engage. Rely on team help for cc and fighting him.

harrass with your autos a lot, not just when his shield is up. Make him regret dashing in too close. His windwall is on a long CD, so if you can bait it out you are good to trade with him once its gone. Post 6, use your ult to dodge his nado and position yourself around his windwall.

Yasuo "counters" ahri in the same sense that fizz "counters" aurelion sol: they have one or two abilities that the other can't actively handle. In the case of yasuo, it's his wind wall and not much else. If you can bait it out through either the use of charm (not q, use that for poke afterwards) or by a gank, then he should stand no chance.

Hello I am a avid Ahri and Yasuo player and I think I have an idea how to win the match-up as Ahri. <WARNING ALL OF THIS INFO ASSUMES YOU CAN HIT SKILLSHOTS>

First, you go agro level 1 and 2, because Yas MOST LIKELY won't get windwall until level 3

Then until level 6 back off and throw a Q and get damage off when possible.

Then at level 6, use a lot of poke. When a fight breaks out, dodge the tornado with the first charge of your ulty, move AROUND <Not through> the windwall to use your combo, then use your last charge accordingly.

I hope this helps! [slayer-jinx-catface]

Yasuo counters Ahri....This is too good to be true. I want you to know that Ahri became my main champ to play because of my Hatred for Yasuo. I love your question so much lol. Whenever I go up against Yasuo, I always hit him with an aa to remove his passive. At that point you just hit me with your Q. The problem though is that Ahri is a mama whore. What I like to do is just save my mana. Now I'm not saying that you shouldn't poke Yasuo, but try to use Q (i.e. Play a bit passively early game). Never try to use Q while his passive up. Next, while you last hit minions, try to aa on him (There's a chance that he will use a windwall). when his W is down, you have a cool 15-20 secs to land your wombo combo. If he has a tornado ready for you and is dashing rapidly towards you, just move back to turret and dodge it. With this in mind, punish him for any mistake with a solid Q to the face. If you don't have your ult yet or it's in cooldown, do not go be aggressive unless provoked. All Yasuo players, in one way or another, are gonna charge at you. So just kite him.

The objective of the lane isnt to kill him - its to farm

counters aren't real
