Talon Passive Idea
Hey, all!
main here. I'm just wondering about the community's thoughts on some passive ideas I've been thinking about when it comes to Talon's kit. I don't think I've seen anyone else post something similar to this, so forgive me for not having too much background knowledge on this subject.
Well, I've been playing Talon since S6 (yeah, I'm a little late to the party) and I've since fell in love with Talon. With the new update I'm slightly disappointed by some gameplay mechanics that I feel should really be more prevalent in Talon's overall playstyle.
For example, why is the bleed 2 seconds? I mean, it's a really heavy bleed, and it helps Talon's 'burst' a lot, but the fact is it's still a bleed. And if it is a bleed, it's a really short bleed. That got me thinking, since it's a bleed, why not let the bleed do the work? Talon's old Q used to be a 6 second bleed, but the problem was it did really crappy damage (randomly killing super-duper low-health targets lol). If you extend the duration by splitting/increasing the damage there'd be a lot more emphasis on 'escaping while they bleed out,' since it's both dangerous and very unsatisfying to stick to the target until they die (which is what happens 90% of the time).
This is also very useful for when you want to look like a badass walking away from a doomed enemy (or to look like an idiot after
ults hurr hurr).
Another idea that I've had was to put the other part of Talon's old Q into the passive, you know, the 6 second reveal that everyone basically ignored back in the day because the target was either already dead or long gone? Well, now that Talon's got that hardcore-parkour, he can actually use it to chase down his escaping victims. I don't know the specifics to balance such a mechanic (only other champ that seems to use that is pre-rework WW), but it'll be really interesting to see Talon actually have some help in chasing down and properly finishing the targets that try to escape him. I mean, he is an assassin. It's not like he's gonna let the target get away that easily, right?
I dunno, maybe I'm just trying to find some way to make
seem more satisfying to play. Thoughts?
