How do you defeat a Yasou / Yi combination?

I can't. I've no idea how to face this combination and I lose every game where players choose a Yasou and Yi and team them up.

I can't charge them with a melee character. They both far out damage any melee character I have. Ranged is no good on them. They simply charge in, stun, then you're dead.

I've also had no luck in calling teammates to help fight them. I can hit G - Assist all I want. No one aids me.

Stay near the turret? It's been my experience that these two in combination ignore the turret's damage, kill me, then get out of the turret's range before their at 25%.

Having a healer nearby doesn't help either. They're combined damage is greater than any healer can offset.

I've have problems with Yasou and Yi alone. Put them together and I may as well stand in the base and let them win. They're unstoppable...literally.

One final edit: I cannot buy these two and learn their weaknesses that way. Yasou is out of price range and I'm saving IP that I could spend on Yi for a different character.

One champ that I know can wreck these two is Xin Zhao.

On Sunday I played a game as Xin wanting to try out a different build. I went up against an Illaoi yop(mind you, that was incredibly difficult) but anyways there was an enemy yasuo mid. Late game: He had a full build, and all I needed was my Trinity force.

I took him out in about 5 seconds, probably not even. It was so fast not even I could believe it.

This was my build: Ghostblade Rageblade Frozen heart Sunfire cape Boots of lucidity And sheen(was going to be a Trinity but then game ended)

I think I took him out in one combo...

Play Swain lol. Honestly facing a yasuo as Swain is a easy match up. Your w and q go through wind wall and once you get zhonyas it's pretty much gg. You heal up when you pop it with ult on and they can't do anything

While Yas and Yi are annoying and generally unfun to play against (moreso Yas then Yi) I would say a lot of your troubles come from being so inexperienced. Yi in particular thrives off of abusing mistakes and misplay. When playing against these two I would recommend trying to play champs with some CC, and/or playing a bruiser/juggernaut. But give it some time, you'll get more experience and knowledge then it'll seem a lot easier.

If you see them in champion select pick something like Rammus, Nautilus, Leona or Illaoi and destroy them. Also Jax is really strong against them.

At very late game, there's not that much counter to either except really hard CC. For Yi, you usually need a team specifically built around him because your tanks are more or less useless and carries implode. Honestly, if they just remove that stupid true damage, then it would be possibly to deal with him. Sure, he is easy to shut down early if you have a good counter-jungler, but having a good jungle is like having a bot lane that does not feed or forget to ward --- it's rare. All you can really do is make sure they don't get fed. Yasuo is fairly easy to deal with so long as he doesn't get uber fed and you have any form of CC (just bait out his wall first if its a projectile).

Early game is where you gut them, as there's only a couple who can outduel them.

Try playing Jax or Irelia, they can easily deal with both of them, with Jax being unbeatable in a 1v1 lategame by anyone, provided you play him right.

Late game advice doesn't help much simply because by then, these two are so amped up, you cannot stand up to them.

I guess this is just impossible. All everyone seems to agree on is that you need to stun them. Well, ok. I'll just be food to them then.

Yi and Yasuo have absolutely 0 synergy with each other lol. Not sure why you would call it a "combination". Yi is very easily focused down and bursted, as he is very squishy and melee at the same time. His early is also very weak; try using a strong early game champion like Lee Sin and invade him. Yasuo is also quite squishy, but has his passive and windfall that make him harder to focus down. The best way to beat him IMO is to gank him a lot early; Yasuos often go very aggressive in the early game, and they have few ways to escape a gank. Both Yasuo and Yi do very well late game, but shut them down and they become nearly useless. Late game advice: focus them. Neither of them tend to build much tank at all, and will blow up nearly instantly in a team fight if your teammates have proper focus. Trying pinging Yi/Yasuo to tell your team to attack them.

Jax dodges all of yi and yasuo's damage except yi's q and yasuo's e. just use Jax e and dodge all their attacks and stun. he also does some pretty ridiculous damage with item 3124

I don't get it. This combination has no synergy. They are both item dependent squishy melees with no poke and have a hard time actually running away pre-6. Darius Vladimir Lulu destroy them.

This board needs to be rank restricted or something. The "balance" issues that alot of low level players have can be solved by simply getting better.

Point and Click damage works wonders against those who use their mobility to their advantage, as long as they arent massively ahead.

Yasuo and Yi are extremely dependent on items. They are also both squishy melee characters, meaning that they have a difficult time laning against many ranged champions, who can harass them as they go for CS. Yasuo is a bit trickier, since he has multiple dashes, but for Yi, what I've found always works well is to keep distance, hit him with autos, and use my abilities in response to his dash (which normally includes at least one CC) If you watch the dash, you can tell exactly where he will come out (when he uses it on you, it's on your face :P). Shoot your abilities there, chunk him down, and then decide whether to run or fight. Repeat until you get a kill or you win the lane by 20 CS. You can do this to Yasuo too, it just takes better timing/aim cause you have to hit him mid dash while he can't dash again.

Late game, think of them like really risky ADC's/marksmen. Like, suppose Jinx had to be right on top of you to hit you, but she had like 1.3x the damage. You still can build armor, focus her down and kill her, CC her, corner her away from her team, etc.

And if they're really fed and you have no items and can't fight them at all... well, imagine that, but with 700 range and consider how lucky you are that they're even standing under your turret as they kill you.

You can beat a yasuo yi combo with stuns, they have literally 0 outplay to it unless its a skillshot or yi Q's out of it. Stun them and do damage to them while stunned. If your ranged, poke yasuos shield down when you can, he needs that if he wants to dive you. Ward and watch out for yi ganks. Try to bait out yi's q by getting close to him then stun him. A good champ to counter these guys are Annie Akali Fiora Darius

Master Yi's critical weakness is hard CC. If you expect to fight him without it he will have advantages.

Both of these champs are incredibly squishy so just being able to focus one of them properly will help. Trying picking someone like Leblanc in to a yasuo/yi setup. She can out damage both incredibly easy and she also has nice escapes with W and R that make it hard for a yi or yasuo to close the gap. Aside from that another champ if I don't get my mid lane (I love mid) is Leona . Leona has all the tools in her kit to keep a yi or yasuo off your carry so they can kill em. I mean if you want more help or advice let me know your mains and your preferred play style. Because all though the champs I listed above are what works for me that doesn't mean it will work for you everyone is different.

Play Jax build item 3124 and 5 other items of your choice (can be anything) Rightclick on them while pressing E and Q and grap popcorn.

If i saw an enemy team pick those two, as a jungler, i would pick either Shyvana or Rammus and stack armor.
