I finally understand the "15 minute meta"

Recently, people have been complaining about how riot made the game capable of lasting 15 minutes with all of the changes.

But it's not exactly that the game is too fast. I think Riot put too many tools for winning into the game. And now we're seeing the difference between players who know how to prioritize and those that don't more clearly.

It's like watching a game where the enemy split pushes with one champ, and no one on your team tries to defend against them, so they just take towers freely. Only now it's in more areas.

Herald is an objective that gets ignored but shouldn't be. Before, if you lost a fight, that's a tower, or drag, or baron. Now it's 2 towers with Herald. First tower gold bonus? People don't try to get it, or defend their towers so the other team doesn't get it. Warding? Buying Control Wards? This was constant before these changes.

But NOW, adding all these tools up, you can tell who knows what's important and how to get objectives. Players that don't play the macro game are currently feeling the sting of a heavily changed meta.

That's how I feel about it, but I could easily be wrong.
