CS as a Supp?

SO ive been getting alot of hate in flex and ranked as a supp for killing minons during the game, form what i understand i need cs to buy more supp role items, as well as champion pacific item,

as soon as i kill 1 minons my adc just gives up on the game saying "Thats not yur job as the supp. you should have 0 cs by the end of the game". at this point we are normally lvl 6 with ult's and as i go in for a kill, my adc just walks away. blaming me more so.

where is a list of rules for the Supp to follow, and if so can i get banned for not following the meta-items/cs rules. after all its not my fault that the adc simiplly walks away during a fight.

In most cases, if the ADC is able to take the cs, you probably should let them take it.

However, if the ADC is not in lane, not in range, not capable of safely taking cs, or not even trying to take cs, .. go for it.

For example, there have been times where an ADC will simply ignore minions that are low and focus on harassing or chasing enemy champions for a kill (even though there is little chance they will actually get the kill). In that situation, if you don't get the last hit, your minions or tower will, and the gold will go to waste.

Take it, but LAST HIT ONLY!

Be careful not to push the lane unless it would deny your enemy the opportunity to cs. If you don't know how to control the wave, stick to last hitting.

Even then they may be childish and cry about it, but if this is the case, they are probably going to act that way no matter what you do.

Just don't blatantly take their cs when they are able, and trying to take it, and you should be within your rights.

As a support main, absolutely DO NOT take your ADCs CS. During laning phase only the ADC should be farming, and you should be poking down the enemy with harass or making sure your ADC is safe from harass themselves. Later in the game, when it comes time to push towers or defend base, kill minions to your little hearts content, although it's still a good idea to let the other players farm it. You have a support item that provides you with the gold you need.

Also, you shouldn't have zero CS by the end of the game because wards add to your CS count (at least they did last time I checked, this may have changed) and you should kill any enemy wards you can safely kill.

But no, do not take your ADCs CS. That will put them way far behind. They need it more than you do. You have plenty of other ways to get gold as a support.

The only time a support takes CS is if it would otherwise go to waste, or you have item 3302 with atleast 1 charge up. If someone else on the team is nearby to take it, give it to them. as a support, you're not that reliant on items to be a valuable asset to your team. ADCs are very item reliant to be able to do anything.

It's not that you should have 0 cs at end of game. It's that you shouldn't farm during lanephase unless you have item 3401 and then only when you have stack. Your adc needs gold way more then you do. You have enough gold to buy supp items just from gold income pasives, belive me I play supp. Your items are super cheap. Later on you are allowed to cs, but still prefered to leave wave for someone if he's around.

If a minion is about to die, and your ADC LITERALLY CAN NOT OR WILL NOT get the last hit, you should not get the last hit yourself?

Because somehow it is better for that gold to go to waste just because your ADC is not on top of their game?

If you can make better use out of it, Like if they got 20 farm or something in 8 minutes. Let them rage last hit all of them if you want to they aren't worth supporting. lul
