Wat is the point of solo que?

when individual skill means little to nothing if every lane is going to feed and lose their towers at 10 mins? u can outplay the fuck out of your lane opponent and kill him over and over all you want it wont change the fact your bot lane is 0-8 at 9 minutes and their tower is about to fall while your jungler is dieing to wolves, them feeding like that makes the game nearly impossible for you to carry unless you're playing katarina and the other team has no cc at all to stop your ulti, why do you guys play solo que when its 90% luck as in whoever gets the better team wins? ive had 4 games tonight where every single lane but mine gets stomped as if they were vsing challenger players or something, so tell me why do you play solo que if its based off of random generated teams (you can get that 0-5 xin xhao whos dieing everytime he ganks, or they can. Its the luck of the draw in league of luck)

Although most people don't want to admit it, winning a solo queue game is highly dependent on your team. Mostly you hear something across the lines of, "You can win every game if you focus and tell your teammates what to do", but since that is so common at least one person will use that mentality on the other team too so they don't throw. This is also PVP, there are other human players who know how their champion works on the other team, and your teammates will have low morale if they feed and will just want to quit. It is very hard to single handedly carry the game if the other team has people who are just as competent as you.

It's not all luck. After enough games it does about even out. Just don't worry about the results of any one particular game very much but look for patterns in how games seem to play out and look for things you could have done better in each game.

Where were you? Why aren't you ganking, calling shots, warding to get easy kills on jungle, doing anything besides farming mid? It's on you, get there and stop blaming others.

When you put it that way, it really makes no sense to play the game. Fortunately, you have misrepresented every aspect of the game, so we are safe. Phew.

you do realize that solo and duo are mixed together right?

Skill is a factor, just not the biggest. People always mention how pros can smurf back to Diamond easily, they never mention that even the pros lose a game or two in bronze and silver. Also the losing team isn't necessarily bad, sometimes you just have no synergy, nobody's on the same page.

Luck has very little to do with this game if you're competent

Sadly, not every game is going to be perfect. There is a luck element in this(well, when does randomness NOT have a luck component?), but most of your games, you should be able to try and spread your gold advantage.

Lol reminds me of a game of Lol recently, I played as garen, stomped my lane but every other lane started dying, also you can help your teammates if they are having a hard time and you're doing good. I was able to decimate all the other laners, we still lost but it felt good to know I at least tried to help xD

From my extensive experience of solo queue, I very rarely have any games that are nearly this bad... You act as if you always die horribly and have horrible teammates and crush the enemy yourself every game, which is both statistically and realistically rare. From my experience, that's extremely rare. Additionally, what else are you supposed to do if none of your league friends are on? Sit there and twiddle your thumbs?
