Hey I just wanted to make this post to talk about my biggest problem in league right now and how it happened, my MMR.

About 2 weeks ago or so I would usually win 2 out of 3 games I'm pretty sure, I'd make progress in the world of ranked ever so slightly with each win. But then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, a wild 7 loss streak has appeared! It was just so devastating losing 7 games in a damn row, my MMR went from normal, (Silver 4) to what is today (Bronze 3). I'm not sure If I've just been playing worse because of it, or if I've been getting more feeders on my team.

Whatever the case may be, I feel I drop more and more MMR each day and some games just feel completely unwinnable.

I want the feedback from YOU guys on the boards, like if this ever happened to you, how do you rise back up gaining less lp than you lose? What champions did you avoid playing, and what mindset would you go in game with? etc.

I just don't want to fall back into the black hole of Bronze again and have to climb all the way back up. I know Bronze & Silver aren't very different, but just the label of being called bronze in almost every game is aggravating.

I linked my OP.GG so you guys could see my stats and tell me what's up. If you're going to comment about my stats in one game, take a look at my teammates KDA's then think about your comment. ;)

Otherwise, thanks for any feedback at all!

Hey, I encountered a similar problem during my climb. I was placed in S2. I cruised through Silver and Gold with virtually no problems until I broke Plat. Plat was a breeze until P3, promos to P2. My MMR was so inflated at this point that I started getting matched with Diamonds. In these Diamond games I played like absolute garbage. I wasn't looking for the proactive plays that I normally look for. I wasn't ganking lanes nearly enough. I was just so intimidated of messing up that I just simply didn't do anything. At this time I mained Ivern with a 70% winrate, and not doing anything on Ivern is pretty much a guaranteed loss unless your lanes get ahead. But I was barely ganking, so my lanes naturally all lost. So I lost my games. Fell to P4 0 LP. It was devastating. Facing demotion, I took a break from ranked and played a bunch of smurf games with friends. I finally decided to play again, and after coming back with a fresh mindset I started winning again. Climbed to P4 100 LP. I hit a bump here and started losing promos, getting back into them, losing them, and on and on (100 LP -> lose -> 60 LP -> win 2 -> 100 LP -> rinse and repeat). I grinded it out and finally got promoted to P3 again. Then I hit a winning streak and got to P3 91 LP where I am now. I don't check op.gg before games now, I don't want to tilt myself before the game even starts. I just play like everyone is the same elo as me. No diamonds.

By no means am I a top tier player but frel free to add me on NA and ask me a few questions (IGN: Oatz).

TL;DR if you're having troubles winning, take a break. Come back to your ranked games with a fresh mind.

Have a good day! ^v^

Winning and losing is just a part of any game, you have to get used to it. If I were to recommend you a champ, start playing your MF with 60% w/r right now. She's strong with lethality and she's fairly easy too, all you have to do is worry about your positioning and get a good ultimate off. I'd quit playing high mechanical champions like Yasuo/Cass.

My biggest tip would just to only worry about yourself. If a teammate dies, don't tilt over it. Don't even concern yourself with it, focus only on how you're playing and what you're doing because you're the only person you have control of.

Fortunately for you, it's almost impossible to drop out of silver. You have to lose with a Bronze V MMR, which, if you can beat bots, probably isn't happening.
