Man I always get the same Kogmaw players who cannot dodge skill shots and stand in minions to trade. I know there has to be decent Kpgmaw players out there but I have seen one, total -ever (in game not counting streams), that wasn't terrible. And no not just me as I do fine w Nami and Karma w other lane mates....

Kog'Maw became a popular champion. Everyone plays him now. With a bigger player base, worse and worse players show up. Specially because he's strong right now, so noobs trying to get freelo pick him. They just forget that he's made out of paper and has basicly no damage until mid game.
kog is the worst choice to play if you're a bad adc, lmao. imo kog feeds harder than any other adc in the game.
You're better off playing sivir, you don't even need to dodge blitz hooks anymore. And Caitlyn has more attack range so she is way more suited to being noob friendly.

The thing with kog is once he does get his items, he legitimately can stand still and tank skillshots/minions/etc and just out dps his opponents. This sort of potential does breed some bad habits, plus early game with that's not an option people might get themselves into trouble.
probably they pick kog because it's best to stand there and melt the enemy then orbwalking, even though, you can't do that until you have at least like 4 items :S but oh well, they'll change him soon enough.
