Team Builder Ruined

Solo queue was there for ranked players and Team Builder was a place where we could play support, every time, and get our fix of matches without needing to worry about killing, cs, or the other stuff that comes from the other 4 roles.

So today two games in a row and I got the back up MID and insta logged so I do NOT ruin a match for 4 other people. DO NOT FORCE ME TO PLAY a role. The fun in the games is that there is an option. I always play support, healer, etc in games and now you made it so my 'go to' game LOL is no longer fun and I run the risk (after an additional 10 mins of set up per game I might add) of ruining the game for others please stop making play something I am not comfortable paying. I do NOT WANT TO learn to kill or CS cause it is not fun for me. Fun for me is the ultimate W over w a Shield E pop up to save my team in a team fight while they destroy the other team...that is why I play.

Please refrain from the 37 l34rn to play posts cause I am good, pretty good at support, and I do not want to kill people. Not what I like to do at all.

Riot I will continue to watch the tournaments in hopes you keep 'ranked player' types able to play their games, use draft mode, and all the other exciting elements. This last year I watched every streamed match from spring, summer, and worlds. I bought gear, and the online icons, etc. 'Fan boy' type of stuff but...I like to watch cause I play the game. So if I stop playing it is only natural I stop watching.

For example I can't remember the last time I was watching a tournament and saw 'Yellowstar' go adc cause randomly the game decided to make Rekkles a support...And yes that has happened - I double queued with an ADC primary (sup back up) and it swapped us??

Please RIOT stop over tweaking the game and minimizing your playing base. Just because one of your team members is policing the boards and removing posts like this doesn't mean the fans like this - the only positive remarks are from people who are 'diamond' or 'gold' and looking for better ways to practice - they can SOLO QUEUE don't ruin team builder.

The lack of complaints in the forum is a misnomer - go into the GAMES and see the complaining . I have managed customer service teams for over 20 years and the worst, most common customer, does not complain they just do not come back or use your service again. When you get feedback, regardless if you agree or want to hear it remember there is a reason the voice is there....

Anyways - flame away...

The people who respond to posts like these with "well maybe this is riot trying to get you out of your comfort zone" or "just get better with another role" or anything like that obviously give zero shits about casual players.

I realize that riot makes the majority of their money off of skins and professional play, and that's fine. But please realize that when you make something like new champion select that's new and shiny, but also compromises casual play, you're doing a huge disservice to a portion of your playerbase. Some people are only good at one role, or only enjoy one role, and if we're selfish for wanting to play that one role every game, then fine, call us selfish. But to some people, it's only a game, something that we do for fun in our free time, and we don't take it seriously like people who play competitively do. I have nothing against people who play competitively, or to get better, sometimes I go through phases where I want to get better too. But more often than not, I just want to play what I want to play seven games in a row.

For some, learning to play another role is a big deal. Not because we can't, but because we don't want to, and suddenly we're in a position where we don't get to enjoy this game anymore simply because riot wanted to show off their new pretty thing. The new champion select is a very competitively oriented thing and that would be fine, if they didn't throw Team Builder away to make room for it.

Agreed. This new lobby mode and the removal of Team Builder was the worst move by Riot ever.
