Riot...Shaco is a assasin.... He should be able to one shot late game....

Shaco is more an early/mid game assassin. He uses his boxes/clone and misdirection with his Q to play tricks. In a team fight, a lot of those options go out the window as shaco is not a straight fighter. If you are saying that he should be able to Q (which is invisibility, not camo) to get onto the target easily and one shot him outta stealth, no. That is horribly imbalanced considering all of his other tricks and tools. If you fail to win the game early as a shaco then, as some others, like pantheon, he should fall off.
Shaco is a setup assassin, almost a skimisher and kills you w/ boxes backstabs Q repositioning and even a clone, and his e is an execute for when all that gets them low.
The older a modern assassin and the less reworks they've undergone, the more of a fighter they will be.
This is because assassins (to clarify the current concept of an assassin) didn't use to exist and were never intended to exist. Only once you've shifted all damage to the point of nearly instant kills have assassins become a class, and even then the only solution riot could come up with was to delay their instant kills...
If you want to fulfill your assassin fantasy, play a newer assassin and not a champion which use to be another class which got pigeonholed into riot's attempts to add a class of champions into the game which really just doesn't fit well into any RPG game really...
not sure what is wrong with shaco atm? i assassinate adcs late game pretty easily as long as they have their focus elsewhere. it is essential you aa them from behind otherwise you wont do too much dmg. tanks on the other hand, he cant really kill at all too well. dark harvest really helps late game
In a balanced game, an assassin's role is to kill WEAKENED carries, not 100-0 them. But this isn't a balanced game, and assassin players are spoiled to the point where if they can't click and kill a carry from full life, they think there's something wrong.
