Teemo nerf on PBE. Teemo Mains toughts and suggestions.
I'm really baffled on this nerf. I don't understand why Teemo is getting this, why are you nerfing his Hp growth and E poison Dot damage? Teemo now gets 4 less when he levels up and his E deals 1 damage less per second. Yeah i get it that because you removed magic resist runes, teemo's E now deals nore damage, BUT i have never before heard that the problem is the crappy and very underwhelming poison dot. Players dislike the flat bonus magic damage teemo gets for his autos from the E ability, not the Dot. Honestly the poison dot has always been bad. Low damage that can be easily countered with 1 magic resist item and some health regen or life steal / Spell vamp.
So instead of nerfing the poison dot that is not really the problem, you should instead rework Teemo's E a little. I have a suggestion on how to make the ability better and more fair. On-hit damage to 5/10/15/20/25 and (+25% AP), Than the Dot 8/16/24/32/40 (+40% AP). So i'm suggesting that you put more umph to the horrible Dot and than reduce the On-hit damage. Pretty simple. I always tought that Teemo was supposed to be the type of champ that would slowely but surely kill his targets. Teemo should not be a instant nuker, but a damage over time mage. I have no problem on reducing teemos early game damage, but i don't like it when you just nerf his stats without compensating. I hope that Teemos E's dot would be buffed, because Teemo uses poisons to attack his targets and Poison usually deals damage over time and not in an instant.
Next the the nerf to his Health per level, that is from 94 to 90. Wait why? So Riot is going to reduce Teemos hp growth? If so than why? Teemo is not known to be very tank by himself, that is if you don't buy items that give health. I usually play Teemo as little bit more tanky, so i buy items that increase his health, armor and magic resistance. Alright i deal less damage, but i can live a little bit longer in a fight. Usually players who play Teemo go full AP or On-hit with decent amount of AP. I go with Tankiness, and ap/ Magic pen. Anyway what is the reason for making teemo have less hp per level? Now he can be killed more easily obviously, but hasn't Teemo always been squishy? So why make him even more squishy? Just that when he gets caught, he has even less chance to survive. Teemo's auto attack range isn't that long either 500, so how is teemo supposed to fight with out him getting immedietly killed?
I just don't understand the reason why Teemo is getting these Nerfs. E's dot has always been weak. Why make it even weaker? Reduce his Hp growth? Why won't you ever buff or rework Teemo's W Move quickly. I feel like it actually the very bad ability. What would make it better, is that if you would remove the horrible movement speed boost from the active and passive and replace them with an active only movement speed boost that is like Draven's Blood rush ability. Giving teemo speed boost of like 50% for 1,5 sec would be a lot better ability than the Move quick Teemo now has. Maybe now Teemo could dodge an incoming ability or a Jungler / Midlaner or a Support Gank and survive?
Anyway what do you guys think about this upcoming nerf? What do you think about Teemo's E and W and what do you think about my ideas on how to rework or improve these abilities? Honestly those nerfs got me little bit spooked.
UPDATE 12/7 PBE: Teemo's AD lowered to 54 from 58. E's Poisont DOT reverted back to 6/12/18/24/30 per second. I thank you for this Riot. But maybe you could do even more? Please at least increase Teemo's E's DOT to 7/14/21/28/35. I feel like the +1 damage buff to the current E's dot would make it little bit better and it would also be a decent trade for the lowered HP growth and base damage! Please make Teemo's E's DOT a little bit better! You can revert it in the next update if it feels bad or not right to you.
