Mr Bruce Swain1 votesYou get rewards when you level up, that includes champion shards which gives you blue essence.
Cebelon1 votesah okay is it only after you level up after 30 or is it every level? i've started this account a new and haven't played in years so i got no clue atm

Its every time you level up. Since you are only level 17 though, you will get more Champion shards as well as BE when you level up! So its kind of in your favor as it is a "new" account!
Cebelon1 votesah nice thx for the information
