Malz is WAY WAY WAY too op Riot plx

Today is the first day that i went onto leauge and in my first match i saw a malz. I knew the update came out with his updated abilites but he was in the jg and i assumed since i was Kha i would win the fight. Ali and i went to invade and he wasnt there so we rotated bot lane to gank . We came out with 2 kills but Malz came AT LEVEL 2 put down his w and e then all of his voildling spawned and then ..... triple kill no counter play we tried to focus him but his passive reduced out damage and ali's cc. I didnt mind because i knew it would stop cc. A few moments i got invaded and he again just w and e and i died like in 3 secs without much i could do then he proceeded to walk into the bush at dragon.... activate his w and e on dragon. We warded dragon and didnt see him we saw his voidlings killing dragon while he was just in the bush waiting for us... RIOT PLEASE HE DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO BE IN THE AREA TO DO DRAGON. He then kill dragon. After a few mins of getting fustrated i came to the conclusion that he was broken but i didnt want to say this only becuase he killed the entire team a bunch of times but later on we found him alone. Ali baited him he was isolated ez was around the corner and trist was also ready we all jumped onto him. His passive stoppe all cc which was expected but the damage reductiong... SERIOUSLY RIOT. he was isolated and every used most of their abilities he still lived while ulting trist. as he was ulting trist the voidling were just popping out and everyone was just dying we finally brought him down after a few flashes and ults. Riot fix your game.Malzahar

Sounds like you don't know how to play against him. You bait out his passive with a ranged autoattack, which is easy to do, wait about two seconds and go ham on him because he's still Malzahar and that means he has no escapes.

Stop perma-banning him, please. He has counter-play, you're just not thinking hard enough.

the game after i played agaisnt him top and was doing that however after 6 when i jumped onto him he woudl just w and ult me 6 baby malz would pop out and i would die. if i got the kill and i try t o repeat the process he would push out the lane with his e w and baby malz would pop out then i would be pushed in and i couldnt get to hit him

You know it takes a good amount of time for those voidlings to build up right? You're probably sitting next to his aids, getting aids, getting voidling attention, he drops silence on you, ults you, redrops aids on you. You're playing yourself by not paying attention, new malz is not very... threatening... especially early game...

The fact that so many players don't know how to play against Malzahar is an example of the lack of clarity that comes from a lot of the champions and changes RIOT has made in recent times. By this I mean that in order to play the game competently you have to wade through the equivalent of a PhD thesis to know what every champion does. Malzahar's immunity lasts 1 second. So all you have to do is hit him with an auto attack and then wait a second before unloading onto him. But the players that need to know this start reading through the champions and simply can't retain the information that's really important to know because they aren't lawyers trying to pass a bar exam.

So instead, we end up with significant numbers of players that just think certain champions are OP (not because they are OP, but because it's too difficult to understand what all the champions in the game actually do).

Now I don't really have a problem with complex kits, BUT it would be awfully nice if something could be done to improve the clarity on these champions for the many players that are struggling (I'm looking at you too Ekko).

you say this so easily but have you ever tried to do that in a team fight as an assassin. you get blown up before the passive even runs out. And if you say poke him a good malz will avoid the poke by standing in the back now try your point again

Good point about assassins... the Malzahar passive basically shuts them down.

If he w e then ults you and you already used your qss all u can do is wait out and if he is close to you the voildlings will build up pretty fast

That would be the owner of the qss's fault for being quick to pull the qss trigger.

Then it isn't your job, if you're the assassin, to hit him with a random poke, unless you're like... khaz or something.
