May not be a popular opinion but....

There is nothing wrong with off-meta picks as long as you have practiced with them and pick them into a decent matchup, if people can bring lucian, ezreal, or tristana into top and mid, or play bruisers into assassins, then its perfectly fine to bring mages into the bot lane if it fits decently into your team comp. I have no idea why people get so worked up if they don't see their precious run of the mill picks in every lane.

Its that very mindset why NA gets their asses kicked every year because they are too stuck on 'the meta' to try something outside the box. I understand a certain amount of decorum but if Rekkles didn't popularize Garen/Yuumi I would bet anything people would lose their minds if they saw that in one of their games.
