@Riot A very much needed feature to reduce the amount of trolls in games.

Please take the time to read what I have typed out here. If you must, TL;DR is at the bottom.

As much as I would love to expose this person with a link to their recorded game from op.gg, I will merely describe what happened. Player X was playing Ahri vs Zed. X gets ganked by Wukong at 7ish minutes. X dies. X, for the remainder of the game, does nothing but run to different lanes, directly into their turrets, giving away 100% free kills. This was a ranked game at Gold 1 - Plat 5 level. I had the misfortune of having a game with X. He started out the pre-game lobby by spamming a mid call that took up 3 lines. He was last pick, and he spammed this 3 line call until he got to pick his mid. He was toxic during the game and did not communicate. So I check his match history. The above recorded game is what I saw. There were many others, such as support LB with revive/tp in which he was 0/4/0 and it was a 20 minute game.

Anyway, it doesn't matter so much who this guy is, but what does matter is that he is NOWHERE NEAR the only one of his kind. SO MANY people will troll pick or feed during the game if they don't get what they want. Riot, listen to the community. We NEED a tool to be able to deal with people like this. Why, when someone doesn't get what they want in queue, do they get to force others to dodge and take the LP loss and queue timer. Why are the trolls given the power here? The only other solution is to hope and pray that the self-proclaimed troll does not do what he says he will do - throw the game from the first minute.

I Propose: A system in which players in the pre-game lobby can vote to kick another player from it. (THE BELOW EXAMPLE IS DESIGNED FOR SOLO QUEUE!) The system would have: 1. A button or (less daunting) a right-click event that would allow someone to initiate a vote-kick against another player. 2. A 3 or 4 (3 would eliminate the player from being saved by a duo partner) vote minimum in order to kick the player from the lobby. 3. If someone gets kicked, the game will treat it as if that player dodged the game. ....... (They would receive LP loss, a queue timer, and the queue would restart for everyone else.) 4. In addition to this, a copy of the pre-game lobby's chat for the corresponding player's team would be sent to the tribunal.

Possibly this seems harsh and maybe some think that this has room for abuse. I believe that this would work to reduce the amount of trolling in games. Since the above example would be solo-duo queue, there would be no trio or quad queues to force-kick someone. Also, because people generally do not like people trolling their games, they would be enticed to work with their other teammates to vote-kick a troll. Since the vote-kick doubles as a report, it would probably also help to straighten those players out.

Please, do not let this post go unnoticed. This is something that League has needed and will only need more as time goes on.

TL;DR: I request that Riot implement a vote-kick system for solo-duo queue (at the least!) to help innocent players deal with trolls.

Vote kicking sounds like a good idea in theory, but could be abused quite easily.

  1. I want to play Poppy top. The team decides I'm trolling because who plays Poppy, so they vote kick me even though I wasn't doing anything wrong.
  2. a duo queue believes bot lane is their destiny and I can only play support. I pick before then, but they initiate a cite kick because I'm the troll.
  3. the enemy team has a superior comp, and the team believes we are going to lose, so they gang up and decide to kick someone.

The only people who are against some sort of vote kick are people who think they are allowed to pick something 4 others disagree with.

However, you haven't solved the issue yet of people votekicking the last pick when they get outpicked so they don't have to play the match. That's a tougher nut to crack, but I propose that the player who initiates the dodge vote is himself put up for review in the tribunal (assuming it ever returns) and can be punished for griefing if the person was NOT kick worthy.

I think it's a great idea, but it would suck for people who chose to play unconventional roles, even if they aren't dumb ones.

I don't think it'd be abused for something like Poppy top, sure who plays Poppy, but it's not something retarded like AD Sona, which has 0 synergy.

After all, you'd need the majority vote of four people, not two, not three, everyone has to agree. Even if you do get kicked, just join the next match, I doubt it will happen a second time.

Great Idea but imagine how this could be abused?

This needs to be looked at.
