Varus should be reworked in the future.

His kit is really flawed for an adc, many people are just bringing him mid to abuse his "q" and make him a poke champion with moderate CC via his ult. but for an adc that is supposed to seize momentum and deliver the DPS he kinda falls short, his "q" requires you to charge to do decent damage specially late game since it does not critical hit(autos do), his "e" adds very little to his tools, low damage, small AoE slow/grievious wounds that is not hard to get away from. His stacks requires you to land an ability to detonate, but Varus abilities as they are, are better used from afar, outside autos range, in a duel sometimes interrupting your autos do detonate your stacks specially late game, does not even compensate that much.

Varus as it is, is not in a good spot for an adc, the synergy in his kit is not good and his abilities are too unreliable, sure you can take him mid, grab a tear and CDR and spam "q", but that's not what the champion is supposed to be.
