A simple but solid nerf to Cho'Gath

As most people know, Cho'Gath has gotten a little bit over tuned in the recent patch. However, instead of nerfing all his numbers, I think his ult damage to epic monsters should be the same as the damage to champions. This way, you can use your ult for tons of damage to say, steal a buff, but not so far as dealing more damage than smite and taking baron from a jungler when you're a top laner. Kalista can out smite a smite, but she needs to stack up, meanwhile Cho'Gath just does more damage than smite almost always.

hm not a bad idea. then again not a a truly necessary one when you consider nunu also can do this and people still think he's a shit champion.

The difference with Nunu is that to match Cho'Gath's ult, he needs to max his Q all the way. Additionally, Nunu's Q scales off AP, so it generally doesn't go beyond its base numbers. Meanwhile, Cho'Gath has 1000 true damage at first rank, and it scales off his bonus health. Nunu is also considered bad by some players due to his lack of damage and hard cc, all he has is two slows, as opposed to Cho'Gath's, slow, silence and knockup.

you are basically removing him from competitive play and keep him as a problem in solo q no ty

I don't think it would move him out of competitive, and I think a nerf like this is better than nuking his numbers, I like having lots of different champions being meta.
