Hello Ladies and Gents of the LoL community, My name is Melthan Leskor, and I have a rather silly question. To start off I am in S5 with over 200 ranked games but every time I support I hear "PEEL". Can anyone explain this to a poor noob please?

Peel means to cc or to peel the enemy champion off your carry.
cc = crowd control
There are times when you should body block certain types of damage or skill shots like brand q or jinx ulti, generally speaking that is not peeling though.
If you see 
heading towards your carry, you should prepare yourself to PEEL her off your carry with crowd control of some type.
You can use crowd control from your champions kit or 
to slow a enemy champion.
Simply put, it is to prevent the enemy carry from killing your carry, whether by CC, blocking, etc.
