Will shards be giftable in the new crafting system ?

The question is quite straight forward. Like 90% of the people, I play this game with a few friends, and we don't have the same taste in champions and skins.

If I loot a skin shard that I don't care about, but one of my friend is badly looking for it, will I be able to gift it to them ?

I hope someone will be able to answer, or that my inquiry will end up somewhere, since the system is entering a test phase :)
